OMG. My mom sent the university security up to my room to check on me since I didn't answer my phone. Story of my life.

Did she only call once?
[/quote]
No. My phone was buried under a blanket, so I didn't hear it go off. I didn't take it with me to the post office either. Apparently, my dad, aunt, and brother were also trying to call.

Wow, sorry, Af! I hope they are unharmed. Guess I spoke too soon when I said things could only improve.

My cousin has a broken nose, my aunt has a broken something (I think my dad said back, but I'm not sure), and my uncle was unconscious.

I'll let you guys know as soon as I hear something. They were on their way home from the airport when it happened, and the car they were in was one of the ones that stayed upright.

Re: Last Post Wins
What happened? I always hated it when the fire alarm in the dorm would go off in the middle of the night (3-4 a.m.) and it was never anything. You just had to stand around outside in your pajamas looking like crap (and, in some cases, shivering) for 15-20 minutes (just long enough to get so fully awake it's impossible to go back to sleep) until the firemen came and pronounced the coast clear. I never knew if those were drills, prank pulls of the alarm or false alarms or what.

Af-- definitely keep us updated on your family. I hope everyone is okay.
On a completely unrelated note, has anyone seen the DQ commercial with the turkey sandwich? I swear, I haven't laughed that hard at a commercial in a long time. "What does a turkey say?"

I'm not sure what happened. Best guess is someone was cooking and burnt something. That's normally how it goes.
