Thread: Last Post Wins

SBD: I agree. I still have the original for the Genesis. Needless to say, I haven't played it in a while, and I think the last game I did play on the Genesis was Sonic.

...you took 18 hours? Seriously? I am in awe. I can barely manage with the 13 I took this semester! Kudos to you!

    Re: Last Post Wins

Man, I wish to kingdom come that I still had that system. It was the best - I loved Sonic, too. And The Lion King! That's still my all-time favorite video game.

Yeah, but I've taken all horse classes, so that makes it a lot easier! I've only had one class where I really had to buckle down and do a lot of hardcore studying. It sounds like you're taking a bunch of advanced math classes, though. There is NO WAY I could ever handle 13 hours worth of that. I passed survey of calc with flying colors, but was really glad that was as high as I had to go. Kudos to you, too!

PS - Tim Tebow once ordered a Big Mac at a Burger King and got one.

    Re: Last Post Wins

I saw Tim Tebow win the Heisman trophy the other night! I wanted McFadden to get it...but would rather have Tebow get it than one of the other two.

What color is Tim Tebow's blood? Trick question: Tim Tebow does not bleed.

    Re: Last Post Wins

Tim Tebow, oddly enough, is beginning to remind me of Chuck Norris.

I also found out that Tim Tebow can win Connect Four in only three moves. Yowza!

Yea, it's all the math classes for me. Never again will I take four math-based classes in one semester. It's my major and all, but oiaufdsoaijfalskfj (I wrote this for lack of a better word...hah.). So just what I said earlier. But for next semester, I have remedied this, by taking Soccer!

Hah! Now, for your pleasure and DreamingofAnna Fan's humiliation, degredation, and PAIN, I present to you the c harmonic minor scale in three octaves WITH an arpeggio.

LOL. Tim Tebow and Chuck Norris don't belong in the same sentence!

Well, I found out that my exam tomorrow is optional, and I know for a fact that I have an easy A in the class, so that's one final I got out of!

    Re: Last Post Wins

LOL, yeah. I really didn't think it was! It's for my Equine Repro class, so given that I've been in the breeding industry and seen it all firsthand, it wasn't going to be any major ordeal. She just likes to give us opportunities to raise our grades with the final. Like for repro, the final grade will be based on how many points from 500 you accumulate. But there are actually 600 points possible, if you take the final. So if you've accumulated 450 points or more you have an "A" and don't need to take the final. So it's a reward for those who show up to class and do their homework and are consistently awesome throughout the semester. :azn:

Still waiting for news on whether I have to take the Medicine final or not. Icky stuff, that class. It's been a royal pain the whole semester.

What kind of Medicine class? I'm curious...

Man, to have the luxury of familiarity again in my classes, those were the good ol' days of Calculus.

    Re: Last Post Wins

I really like this thread. It's fun!

I had fun with Calculus. My friends all thought I was crazy. What are you planning to do with your degree, CT? Engineer soccer balls?

Equine Medicine. Shoulda been more specific there. It's been pretty intense. Mostly because I've been able to get away with serious procrastination and, what's the word I'm looking for here? Slacking? with all my other classes.

Looking forward to relaxing next semester. Only eleven credits! And I only have to be on campus like twice a week, as compared to two whole afternoons and two other evenings right now! Then I graduate! Then there is the small matter of being selected to the All-FL Academic Team. Ick - like I need another distraction. Banquets in Tallahassee. Will have to pull the Tebow-signed visor out of its glass case for those trips!

    Rudolph is on?

Well, what I thought was that you arranged for prizes for your handicapping contests.

    I'm sticking with bragging rights.

And now that I've gotten to 1,900 posts, it's time for me to hit the sack for some much-needed beauty sleep.

    Re: Last Post Wins

Actually, I'm doing research on earthquake prediction. Lots of fun.. At least for me.

I tried engineering, and it was definitely not my thing. Switched over to Applied Math as soon as I could.

Where do you go to school, and what are you studying? And what's this about the All-FL Academic Team? That sounds neat!

    Re: Last Post Wins

Earthquake predictions sounds like fun to me! You'd make lots of dough doing that in California, wouldn't you? So, do you know when the Big One is going to happen, yet?

You're at Aubrun, right? I go to Central FL Community College, and I'll graduate in May with an AS in Equine Studies. Hoping to transfer to the University of Louisville's Equine Business Management program next fall. That would be an absolute dream come true. Eh, it's just your typical academic team to honor the state's outstanding community college students. I'll have to take time out of my schedule to go to some banquet in Tallahassee. The cool part is that I have a shot at making the All-USA team. For our little equine studies program to turn out an All-USA academic team member would be AWESOME advertisement!

    ::blushes at TKS's comment::

I gave my presentation on audience behaviors in the 18th century (I go to New College of Florida) for my Classical and Early Romantic Music final and it went quite well, I think. I guess the teacher in me kicked in when I got up there. Plus, I had prepared. Now I just have to finish this portfolio. It's also my dad's birthday, so I called him and left a message and I'm waiting for him to call back.

    By the way....I'm winning.
