He's definitely not a prancer or dancer like Zenyatta though. Pretty much had his head down the whole time he was in the paddock. Sure didn't look like he was ready to run, but he certainly was when he hit the track.
Here a pick of him with Garcia aboard from the paddock that day ...

I'm confused. How is he the next Zenyatta?
I don't see the comparison either. Just another inebriated post.
If you were a cookie, you'd be a WHOREO!!!
Alcindor's win stood out to me at the time, but I didn't sense the field he beat was particularly promising. It was a nice win, but not particularly eye-popping. JMHO
Exciting race though ... He won on a head bob ... By about 1 inch.
SOTS ... If you wanna watch the race, go to CalRacing.com.

He looks like he's about 18 hands at 3.

If you'd bothered to click on the link before posting, you'd have seen that the writer drew the comparison due to his size and late start. It wasn't SOTS or the hypothetical booze talking.
As a Bruin to the bone (I just missed Kareem/Lew) I hope he does well. Ran pretty greenly down the stretch.
You're right, SOTS, that was really insulting--I've been known to pour a few down, but never until the sun is over the yardarm. (Whatever that is.)
I meant to mention too that Legends actually doesn't have a bad set of horses and if a couple more pan out (Alcindor or Capital Account maybe, I'm only familiar with the ones out here) they might have done pretty well if the stallion market hadn't tanked. Morning Line is theirs too, and they sold Conveyance.
legends screwed up when they made d wayne one of the legends. he had some NICE horses like i want to say.. frozen tanudra or lambough legend. heck it might have been both, on the green bay packers reference.
legends racing should have just been give bob baffert some money and let him pick out horses. would have been much more successful l
Capital Account is fantastic! I hope he's still on form when he makes his return to the track. I see a ton of potential in him. Per Baffy back in late August, he should be resuming training once again very soon. I look forward to a big 2011 from him if he's ok physically. I got the impression from Baffert that he was just giving him a rest is all. He said verbatim back on Pacific Classic day that "We had to turn him out for 60 days" ... So I'm guessing it was just that he needed a rest ... Not an injury.![]()

capital account, del mar sprinter correct?
Yes, two for two.

i honestly wondered the same thing to.I don't think Zenyatta will EVER be duplicated
You're right, Tin Man, I'd forgotten that he debuted at Hollywood. Might bode well for his shift to dirt!
Yeah ... And handled 2 very different surfaces well too! I've had my eye on him since his first race. He really jumped out at me. Not saying he will be another Rail Trip, but thus far ... I've got the exact same feelings and observations with him that I had with RT at this stage. I'm hoping for BIG things next year. Are you watching him closely too!![]()
