    Tomorrow...

How is everyone who's nerves are going to be at an INSANE level to say the least planning on trying to relax and not let their heart pump out of their chest all day?

(Speaking to fans of all horses, Zenyatta, Goldi, Gio, LAL, Blame, Uncle Mo, whoever you are rooting big time for!)

I think I might get up early, do some cleaning, of course try an focus on one race at a time and chat about them on here, and maybe do some early shopping.. gotta go to wal mart! Then order some Chinese food. Craving it lately! And sit back and watch and root everyone comes home safe!!

I'll likely have no nerve issues. If they win, they win. If they don't, they don't. I've learned that it's not a game to get completely emotionally involved, because it's a game that'll break your heart more often than not, and losses will come more often than wins...but losses aren't at all the end of the world.

Like you said, just let them all come home safely, and may the best horses win.
Well there's lots of smart ideas in books I've never read, when the girls come talk to me I wish to hell I had

Usually I can watch any race, no matter how tightly wound, but I want Goldi to get her 3-peat so badly I actually may not be able to watch.

I don't know. I'll probably just do what I did today. Inbetween races I paused it and did other things on the computer while I waited for the next race.

Of course, that is how I missed the fight between Borel and Castellano initially.

True, but I did go back and watch it. I couldn't believe they really got into a fight on national TV. Had to see it for myself.

To tell you the truth, even though she's not like an all time favorite of mine (to put into perspective what I'm saying, I don't have a ton of all time favorites, and I would love to see Sidney or Gio win, I definitely won't be rooting against her. I would love to see her make history. She deserves it. And this female domination thing is starting to be really fun! hehe I'll probably be close to as nervous for that race as the Classic.

I actually found myself nervous for all of the races today. Every time these horses go out and run, I get nervous. Whether I have a favorite in the race or not.

You know how you always read that football players would rather play the "big game" early in the day rather than at night, just to avoid having to sit around all day, anxiously worrying about the upcoming game?

    That's how I feel.

Wish the BCC was at 9 am tomorrow.

Win or lose for Zenyatta (and I hope its a win), let's get it over with so that we Z fans can either experience the joy or suffer the defeat, but most importantly, start regaining a sense of normalcy in our lives!
