The whole forum was slowing down as the BC races started this morning and IMO we crashed it. Stupid server seems to do that. But how lovely that you would go on a rant about it and sound so very classy.
It was a great race. I knew Blame was the one to beat. I've always liked him. Hats off to him for the race of his life and for Z to her great race as well. She was running him down, he was not coming back to her. Would she have caught him if the wire was another few strides (and she has always seemed to know exactly where it is)? Maybe, maybe not. But to you, it is not about the racing and the heart and the try and the great horses - but merely about smart a$$ comments, sneering and one-upmanship.
You are playing checkers, not chess. Chess requires more actual thought and consideration of the game.

Honestly dont' think it would have been that bad. I had nothing but respect for what I saw. I am sure most others felt the same.
I take no credit for picking Blame earlier this year, I wavered on him lately anyway, I was there today, and I never rooted so hard for a horse to win as I did for Zenyatta.
That said, I am happy to Blame. But he is not my Horse of the Year.
As for the board, I wasn't here earlier today, so I didn't miss the absence.

I can see it both ways. V might have decided it was going to get too heated or it could be that the forum just crashed. I don't know.

This is 20 times the CPU capacity of the server. Earlier when your site
was disabled is was running a load over 40; that is 40 times the
processing speed of the server.
Obviously, I'm going to have to upgrade our server capacity.
