Will look out for her... I loved SWD.

OMG California (A.P. Indy-Madcap Escapade) is VERY handsome. *swoon*

**fingers crossed** for a big effort today.

California was 3rd. A so-so effort. He looked a little green in the stretch. He's got a scrabbling kind of action. On the other hand he galloped out in front of the top two.

I'm glad Arch Traveler beat California. First because this flatters Heron Lake and Break up the Game (who I think will win next out) and second because California is not going to be a Derby horse even if he were good enough, not with that damside pedigree.

Desert Stormer's 3 year old by Unbridled's Song, Palm Desert Island (full to multi winner Sheikh's Serenade) debuted at Gulfstream today after months of blistering works. She and her stablemate (who won) were less than even money - and finished 11th and last beaten 29.

    Color me disappointed!

Me too. Talk about bookends-the other half of their entry won.

Palm Desert Island and Embur's Song were the fillies I was looking forward to watching today. Bleah!

That would be Miss Smarty Pants! By Smarty Jones o/o Devotion Unbridled by Unbridled. She came within a very short nose of breaking her maiden first out last month, so I'm not surprised she won today.

Stormberg (Storm Cat x Serena's Song '08) will be going on Friday at Gulfstream:http://www.equibase.com/static/entry...EQB.html#RACE8. If he runs anything like he did last out, will be getting his picture taken. He's a full to Schramsberg, Sophisticat, and Grand Reward. Love what I saw last out, very excited about this one!

I apologize if he's been mentioned, but I just noticed a workout by a "new" Baffert three year old at Hollywood Park--5F in 59.40 I think--horse is Coming Through and he's by Dynaformer x Away--half to Eight Belles.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.
