If they're already thinking grass this early, then they've given up on him as a dirt horse. That really makes no sense at all.....I'm not sure how grass would be an easier spot for him. They might as well enter him in a claimer. He might be better with experience or he might just not be very good, but with his pedigree, you have to give him more shots.

Tweet from Kate Hunter: Vodka's full brother's debut is going to be delayed. He has the human equivalent of shin splints. He will rest and grow, and debut later on.

    From the DRF:

    Gio Ponti’s sister sidelined

Antonia Autumn, the half-sister to multiple Grade 1 stakes Gio Ponti who made an auspicious debut, is getting some time off after sustaining a minor injury, trainer Christophe Clement said.

“She was not right behind so she’s just getting a break,” Clement said. “There was a question of soundness behind.”

Antonia Autumn, a daughter of Bernstein, won her debut by two lengths here on April 29.

Re: Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses

Causeithertz, 07g by Giants Causeway out of Megahertz (GB)

Looks like this horse is finally on track after being transferred to Baffert. Two starts in May, two wins MSW & NW1OT and works back 6/15 in 59.60.

Megahertz was such a gutsy little mare; I'm happy to see her former owner stay the course with Causeithertz.
