    2011 Stud Fees

I thought I'd start a thread just for stud fee announcements.

As noted in the other thread, Malibu Moon will stand for $60,000.

Adena has also announced their fees: http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-raci...tand-for-50000

Honest Man will stand his first season at Red River in LA for $2,000.

Thoroughbred Times has started a list. It shows their 2010 fee, and new 2011 fee. It's at:

Also at the Times, an article on Adena Spring's fees:

Hmm. I must've missed the announcement about Plan standing at Adena.

    Tiz Wonderful stays at 12.5k.
Nobody said giving Kirstie Alley a colonic would be easy.

    Blame is $35K.

That's what I heard a few days ago. I think it's a nice price considering his big win.

My question is, where does this put Lane's End with Quality Road? Blame beat Quality Road twice and won the premiere race for older horses, in which QR finished up the track.

Claiborne has announced all their fees. Among others, Arch is 30K, and Pulpit decreases to 50K. The complete list is here:

Flatter at 7.5K and War Front at 15K are very attractive. (The Claiborne roster looks better than it has in a few years, I might add.)

Good question. Would assume they had a fee in mind, but now have to be in somewhat of a quandry...

I would guess QR is 30 or 35k.

For sure, but that last place finish doesn't bode well for this sire. I saw the website and QR was on the list but the fee was to TBA. Probably on Monday or tomorrow it will be announced. I'm guessing 30k.

Did they announce Congrats's KY fee yet? When does Winstar announce their fees?

I'd run, not walk, to breed to QR at $35K over Blame at the same fee.

I cannot see them justify 35k for QR...ESPECIALLY after his last place finish in the Classic.

I think that Super Saver at 20k is wayyyy too high in my opinion...but I'd guess that's because he's a fluke Derby winner.

How about Tapit , Rockport Harbor and Unbridled's Song?
