Can't wait for Monday, when the catalog goes up.
Were you able to view the catalogue today? I have been trying, but don't know if it is my computer or their website.
I havent seen it today, maybe theyre too busy with the Zen thing![]()
I am rather disappointed that they are not live streaming it from the walking area behind the sales arena.
They have it, but they haven't linked to it on the site yet. I managed to ferret it out anyway, http://apps.keeneland.com/livesales/....asp?saleid=68
Not a whole lot by MDO, but then, there usually isn't at this sale. Surprised that there aren't any mares covered by him going in the sale though. Oh well, already managed to find out 125 of the 170 mares he got last year, so I feel pretty spoiled.![]()

Nobody said giving Kirstie Alley a colonic would be easy.
Nice Jas, didn't realise that Francie and Justine were half sisters. I guess I missed that.
Good luck, hope you get a nice price.

Can you tell I like the family?I almost made an offer on Mini Skirt too, but thought I'd better diversify the broodmare band a bit.

I noticed Justine after we had gotten Francie and I knew I wanted her. So I tracked the owners down thru the Jockey Club and cold-called them and made an offer on the mare which they accepted. At that point, she was a few weeks from foaling so we left her up there. We shipped them both down about 6 weeks after he was born.

A Little Warm has been withdrawn from the sale, because he has 2 screws in his left front fetlock and 3 screws in his right -- and he isn't fully healed yet.

If somebody could please photograph CATINCA (Hip 670), I would be forever grateful. Also, if anyone here purchases her, I will be your best friend forever!

My Dad will be at the sales adding to our broodmare band, and depending on how I feel I might be there as well. I'll ask him if he can take a photo of her, and if I'm there I'll make sure to get a photo of her for you.
She was awesome on the track wasn't she? I loved watching her.
My Dad's adding about 6 broodmares and in effect doubling our band, he's looking for commercial value with the intention of sending a few yearlings to the sales every year while still racing a few every year. He's also looking at buying a few racing prospects.
I don't own my horses, they own me.
The broodmare side of things is a bit light in this sale, especially with the outs, but there's a ton of nice racing prospects in.

Oh I know, my Dad just called me sounding like a kid on christmas when he was talking about all the racing prospects. My Dad just retired and is really excited about being able to devote all of his time to studying the catalog.
If I'm at the sale do you want me to get a photo of your yearling in the ring?
I don't own my horses, they own me.
If you happen to see him go thru that would be great. Thanks! We haven't decided if we're going or not yet but it's always nice to get a parting momento. If I have my way, we'll be buying something as well.

GiGi's "aunt" Vividora is in the sale. Unfortunately, as pretty as the family is they are not very commercial. She does have a solid family though.
