Tapitsfly worked on turf this morning at GP. She has not started since winning the 2009 BC Juvy Fillies Turf. It'd be great to have her back!

I was so happy to read about Tapitsfly........I've no idea if she'll be as good, but it's great that they are giving it a try.

    From brisnet.com

Gem Inc.'s HARISSA (Afleet Alex) opened her four-year-old season on a winning note Tuesday, recording a wire-to-wire victory in the $75,000 Sleigh Ride S. at Parx Racing. Trained by Michael Hushion, the bay lass dueled for the early lead before drawing off from her rivals in the stretch, scoring by 4 3/4 lengths with jockey Junior Alvarado. The Kentucky-bred, who placed in the Indiana Oaks (G2) and Iowa Oaks (G3), notched her second stakes victory and has now earned $335,566 from a 12-4-3-2 line.

Even though it was only a three horse field, I was impressed. I thought she looked very much in control.

    I missed this earlier.

Also working for Dutrow Friday morning was Amen Hallelujah, who captured the Davona Dale S. (G2) over the track during her 2010 exploits. The newly turned four-year-old lass zipped in a bullet :59 4/5 in advance of the $500,000 Sunshine Millions Filly & Mare Sprint on January 29.

Leparoux was up. AH hasn't run since early June, but has been back in training since November.

Anyone catch the 6th @ Tampa today? Littlegreatone, Megahertz's Bernardini filly came in 3rd in her second try. She's a little one like her Mom. Lael owns her.

Gosh, Tapitsfly certainly didn't have a good comeback race. Prompted the pace, then stopped to last. That's not encouraging.
