    From brisnet.com

Ogden Phipps H. (G1) queen AWESOME MARIA (Maria's Mon), undefeated this season in four graded contests, turned five-eighths in 1:02 over Saratoga's fast main track on Monday. She might be aiming for the July 31 Ruffian H. (G1).

Fantasy S. (G2) winner JOYFUL VICTORY (Tapit), runner-up in the Mother Goose S. (G1) last time, breezed five furlongs in a bullet 1:00 over the fast main track at Delaware Park on Monday. She's heading to Saturday's Coaching Club American Oaks (G1).

    Re: 2011 Fillies & Mares (3U)

Tim Snyder says if Lisa's Booby Trap wins the Rachel Alexandra Stakes Monday he'll consider her for the Ballerina Stakes, Saturday, August 27.

"SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Lisa’s Booby Trap, winner of last year’s Loudonville Stakes, worked a half-mile in a bullet 46.22 this morning on the main track in preparation for Monday’s $75,000 Rachel Alexandra at seven furlongs.
The move, under jockey Dennis Carr, was the fastest of 34 at the distance.......
Snyder said if the 4-year-old Drewman filly runs well in the Rachel Alexandra, he would think about starting her in the Grade 1 Ballerina on Travers Day, Saturday, August 27.“She’s not in the winner’s circle yet,” cautioned Snyder. “But if she wins this race as easy as the last one, we’ll look at the Ballerina...”

All Star Heart headed for stakes

All Star Heart is bound for a stakes at Del Mar or Woodbine in September after winning her second consecutive race in an optional claimer over a mile on turf at Del Mar on Thursday.

Ridden by Brice Blanc, All Star Heart ($4.60) closed from seventh in a field of 10 to win by a half-length. It was her second win since falling in a turf race at Santa Anita last winter. “She’s developed into a really nice filly,” Blanc said. “Sometimes when they have a bad-luck deal they don’t comeback. She came back more mature or more confident.”

Trainer Ron McAnally said the $150,000 Palomar Handicap here on Sept. 5 or the $300,000 Canadian Stakes at Woodbine on Sept. 18 are possibilities.
