    Breeder's Cup

Finally got around to messing with my Breeder's Cup photos. I was in section 124, far up the stretch, so I often wasn't shooting the eventual race winners. Anyway, here they are.

Really, really like that wide shot of the whole Classic field. Lots of stories being told there.

And as a Goldi nut, I love that you got a shot of her with all 4 feet off the ground.

    Thanks!

Very nice shot of the whole field. Amazing how much brighter it looks down the stretch, but I imagine that's because of that horrible yellow light at the wire which throws everything off. What ISO?

    I like your presentation too.

Thanks. ISO for the Classic was 3200. First time I ever shot racing that high, but it was pretty darn dark.

Yeah, that was THE number. Amazing what these cameras can do today. It's almost scary.

Absolutely tremendous photos. Thanks for sharing them.

If you don't mind my asking, what equipment were you using?

Thanks! I used a Canon EOS 5D Mk II with 100-400mm lens for most races. For the Classic I used the 70-200 f2.8.
