It also will be quite a factor in determining Kentucky Derby contenders. How will horses like Comma to the Top or Tapizar do in the Derby if they are the winner of the Santa Anita Derby? Will their win be viewed like the old Blue Grass winners used to be looked at when it was speed-favoring dirt?

Tapizar impressed the heck out of me the other day.

And of course, I've always loved Comma To The Top. How can you not love a blue collar, rags to riches horse like that guy?

What a shame this track wasn't installed a few years ago......it would have forced somebody's hand....

Do you ever make a post that doesn't take a swipe at Zenyatta or her connections Barny?

I'm sure you have more to offer this board than that. You're a bright guy ... Even clever sometimes. Surely you can shift gears from time to time and offer something on a different subject ...

    Just sayin' buddy ... ;-)

Three posts is all it took. Keep up the good work, BF.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Yeah, or it would have meant that she never initiated the winning streak, so that YOU are STILL bitterly posting about her three years later? Oh but wait. Since she was beating nothing out there, I guess she could have caught them on fast dirt, too. Make up your mind.

You can let it go now. It's over. She won. You lost.

How is what I said taking a swipe?Do you believe Zenyatta would have raced in California over the surface they have now?

Herpes,I didn't lose cause I didn't have a dog in the fight. You Z nuts are way too sensitive.Simple question,If this track was installed 3 years ago would the great John Shirreffs have raced Zenyatta over a surface with such a speed bias.If anyone else had asked this question there would have been a discussion.

Do you EVER think of any other horse besides Zenyatta BF?

You think about her FAR more than the staunchest of Zenophiles here. There would probably be at least 50% less posts on her, if you got her off of your mind and stopped antagonizing her supporters.

Certainly there is another horse you can post on without bringing Zenyatta into the discussion right?

Anyone else might mention another horse every once in a while and therefore a comment like yours might engender discussion. But your obsession with dogging anything to do with Zenyatta kind of negates the "sincerity" of discussing your point BF. Just sayin' ...

Oh Herpes. It's too bad you never realized your dream of training a racehorse and the closest you ever came was talking about horses on a message board.Must be rough to be a never was, wanna be.It's not too late for you. With your stellar personality I'm sure you can hustle up a couple of owners.Only trouble is you'd have a difficult time passing the trainers test. But we'll let you continue to show your 'know how' here because you bring so much sunshine to everyone's lives....

Uh ... Duhhhhhh ... My bad! I should have known that. You were FAR more on point than I was there. ;-)

And yeah ... I think I take it too easy on BF ... I'll leave the dirty work up to you.
