This is the same gal I posted pics of in another thread, the 1991 model mare. Instead of riding, sometimes I turn her loose in the arena to play and decided to get a video this time. This is halfway through, she was bucking up a storm beforehand

She's lovely! No, I wouldn't have put her anywhere near 20! I love when they get that boingboingboing Pepe LePew canter going. She was pretty good at it a couple times.

That is the BEST! That perfectly describes that canter She throws that out a lot when playing.

Can you believe this mare foundered at one time (for mechanical reasons, was very lame on an opposing limb), then later thanks to the abrupt downhill performance of an old farrier, became so stiff with arthritis that she couldn't hold a canter? She's seen some things in her life but always bounces back stronger than ever. She's testament to how resilient the Thoroughbred is.
