    Spun Sugar

I saw on Sheepish's blog about Medaglia d'Oro that Spun Sugar was bred to him and Heart Of The Storm. Like me, you are probably thinking, who the @%*& is Heart Of The Storm and why would they send a G1SW and mare that they spent $4.5 million for in 2007 to a horse that never won a race?
I don't know either but it has to be one of the strangest things I saw this year. Thoughts?

It's not right. There are other mares named Spun Sugar (obv. registered in other countries). Either it's one of them or it's some kind of weird glitch. I just pulled an Equineline report on our Spun Sugar.

The following is a list of the foals of Spun Sugar:

I sure hope it's a glitch. I noticed that on the Breeders' Cup site that she was listed as going to MDO and Heart of the Storm

Before I pulled that report, I looked to see if the farm where Heart of the Storm stands is near Shadwell. LOL. Was trying to work out whether he could've somehow escaped and found his way to Spun Sugar's pasture or something. Highly unlikely, I know. Even if the farms were adjacent, which they aren't. Not even close

LOL I google mapped both the farms to see if they were close before I asked.
