Anyone know which trainer's saddlecloth is solid black with a red "B" in one corner? He/she had one helluva gorgeous beast working this morning on the main track. Dark brown, white blaze, pranced around with neck bowed - a real picture!

Do you know Marcie? She'd know. Or even if you don't actually KNOW anyone, I'll bet if you asked someone hanging around at Clocker's Corner, they'd tell you ... particularly if it's someone with a camera and long lens.
If I saw a photo of it, I might know, but nothing rings a bell. Maybe Marcie or Julie or Emily will chime in here if they see the thread.
This is a complete shot in the dark, but for some reason my first thought is Thomas Bell.
On that day there were 3 trainers with last names beginning with "B" who had horses on the work tab - Thomas Bell, Rafael Becerra and Jeff Bonde. Bonde's horse was a filly who fired a bullet. If this horse was a filly, she was HUGE (Beige is Brown was her name). In her one and only start she set a 2 F record last year at GG.

I could be wrong, but I have it in my head that Tommy Bell may use navy blue with red lettering .... maybe even TRB in red.
Not sure about this but Rafael Becera might use black, but I'm visualizing a script RB ... but I could be thinking of someone else on the East Coast.
The one saddlecloth I could find for a Bonde horse is a Bobby Frankel royal blue with a white border. Can't see under the BC cloth to see if there are initials there.
You were on to something here, Gin. The saddlecloth was indeed navy blue with a red B, and I believe the horse in question was Bronster, who had been in my VS since he broke his maiden @ HP in a 4.5 F race last April, but had not been seen since. For me to put a horse who ran in one of these early baby races into my VS, he had to have impressed me but it's been SO long I can't remember. Glad he's back on the work tab. He looked a picture prior to his gallop at SA last weekend. Perhaps it was his appearance as well as his running that impressed me in his only start. A drop-dead gorgeous beast.
(edit: hmmm, I may need to take this post back, since I notice in his maiden race he was trained by Adam Kitchingman .... back to square one, sigh)

Biancone is another B trainer but its definatly not him
for some reason i am seeing Bell with white saddle cloth..maybe getting confused with Ben Cecil
I have photos of horses with a navy saddle cloth and orange B...dont know who is the trainer.
If nobody can give us a definate answer over the weekend I will find out for sure.
