Last weekend Golda lived up to her namesake - winning two five point majors on our national specialty weekend in Louisville (the Kentuckiana Cluster) - in the shadow of Churchill Downs!Originally Posted by dreamer

Two 5-point majors? That's impressive - here in the Pacific NW she would have to be judged first over a total of 25 fellow female Min. Schnauzers in a show for a 5-point major, so she's obviously a quality animal in her breed.
Searching is half the fun. Life is much more manageable when it is thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party.

An update on Golda - she's now American and Canadian Champion Minuteman Goldikova. She returned to the show ring in Long Beach, CA and was winners and best opposite sex at the Miniature Schnauzer Club of California to finish, followed 5 weeks later with Winners at the MSC of Canada National Specialty.

We snapped a few photos of our (now) Am.Can.Ch.Minuteman Goldikova yesterday after a trimming session. Posted now as a good luck charm!

Update! Golda is now Am.GCh.Can.Ch.Minuteman Goldikova, and she's the top ranked female in the breed in the US (number two overall) to the end of July!
The only complaint judges have is that they want her to "slow down"... be careful what you name a dog, I guess!

Our girl is living up to her namesake - Best of Breed at the American Miniature Schnauzer Club National this past Sunday, at Montgomery County Kennel Club - the "Breeders Cup" day of the terrier world!
