Nobody said giving Kirstie Alley a colonic would be easy.
Her dam, Francie, who will be available as a riding horse once she weans the filly, if anyone is interested. She's free and I'll pay for shipping. Otherwise, she'll just hang in the pensioners field.

Justine, Francie's half-sister, also free to a great riding home. Love this mare a LOT.

Jas:
In a perfect world, I would love to have both of them, they are sooooo cute. I think you need to keep them.Syriana is a rock star.

We'll keep them if the perfect home doesn't come along but they're both riding sound and they're so young they'd make someone very happy riding horses for a long time.

Your filly is looking great! What a nice body she has.![]()
When I see that you have posted new pictures, I always start at the beginning and look at all of them again. Your babies are beautiful and I always look forward to seeing more pictures of them. As I'm sure you have nothing else to do, couldn't you post new ones every day?!![]()
That Harlington is a smashing filly, Jas!
Very nice foals Jas! They all look great.
I hope you find a good home for your mares. I know how difficult it is to find homes for TB's. I tried and tried to give "Damien" (Not An Altar Boy) away for months to a good home and couldn't find anyone willing to take him. Finally when my trainer came to take Vader he said he'd take Damien and see what he could do with him - well we all know what happened with THAT.

Thanks, guys! I keep saying it, but I'm in love with the Harlington filly.
Dreamer, we've actually found a GREAT home for Francie. She's going to an acquaintance to be a pasture ornament and keep two of her old geldings company. She owns a beautiful "pet resort" for dogs that is out of this world and was looking for a mare to fill the void of having just lost an old girl she had for many years.
We actually had someone ride Justine the other day and she did great. First time someone's been on her back in 10 years and she didn't bat an eye. She'll be fat and happy in the pensioners field until we find the perfect home... or she'll just stay where she's at.

Terrific news for Francie! And if you have the time to wait, good things will happen for Justine as well - even if it means staying fat and happy where she is. I'm happy for you (I know what a stressor it is finding a home for them is).

Thanks! And lo and behold it looks like we have a home for Justine, as well!

Good jobI am sure you are thrilled.

Just looked through all the photos and yeah, you really hit the lottery with these three, Jas! I love the CJ colt, his eye has quite the sparkle of mischief. And he has a beautiful head and shoulder. Syriana looks like quite a little lady, too - I'm excited you're keeping her and we can watch her grow up.
I'm glad you found homes for your two mares, too... though I'm not surprised you found homes so quickly. They have a lot of good things going for them conformation-wise. Justine is my favorite and I was pretty tempted (my fiance would have flipped his lid).![]()

haha Thanks guys!
Well to update the thread, a European farm made an offer on Islandia that we just couldn't refuse. So she's now sitting at Indian Creek in quarantine. I have no doubt she's going to be a top broodmare for them with that family behind her and the Arch colt she's carrying she find France much to his liking!

Just looked through the whole thread! Congrats - what a handsome group of mares and foals!
I love the Dunkirk filly, she has a real presence about her - she'll be a horse to be reckoned with someday! The Col. John colt is quite the looker, and Syriana seems very well put together - good choice on your keeper!
Jas! We need updated pics!! I'm having withdrawal symptoms...![]()
