    Re: Zahrah

Broke well, on outside, taken in hand, allowed to settle, was asked approaching the turn, had to take the overland route, took over at the top of the lane, seemed to be getting a bit weary and then re-broke(switched leads?) and could have won by more.

Some pics of her from today. She's in the middle of a growth spurt (won't be 3 until mid May) but is looking pretty good.

You can see how well that nasty cut is healing on her nose. Gives her character! lol

She does look good. And being a winner makes her look even better.

    Re: Zahrah

Congratulations!! How exciting! And she looks great too. Looking forward to her next race. That was one nasty cut on her nose, for sure. She's really nice, I especially love her shoulders.

It does, but the view on the track will be her butt anyway!

What a sweet face .... even with a cut on her nose. Mighty proud of your girl, Jas, and wish her the best.

They really will hurt themselves on anything! Glad she is healing well. She has such a sweet face. Congratulations on her win and thanks again for "sharing" her!

    Re: Zahrah

Jas, where would you like to go with her next?

    Re: Zahrah

Keeneland or Indiana, more than likely.

Keeneland doesn't have much in the condition book that's suitable plus the competition will be steep, but we know she LOVES the surface, having worked on it consistently before going to Tampa. The Kitten's Joys also really seem to move up at Keeneland.

My guess is we'll find something at Indiana. Good purses and not quite the competition level of Keeneland. With that said, she'll work next week at Keeneland and if she looks like a beast on the surface again, we may just have to find her something there.

I think we're pointing for a race on May 4th at Arlington.

    Re: Zahrah

It's on the main track, not the turf. Not sure why that alert says otherwise.

If it is an artifical surface, that is how it comes up. Drives me nuts.
