    I figure 40k. With no TC on the line and the very likely chance of rain, I don't see more than 50k. As soon as I heard the skies might open I decided not to go (the curse of going with people who don't like racing!).

    ! went with the 45,000-50,000 and hope it's more. belmont is my old stompin' grounds and it depresses me even more than other tracks to see a gradnstand with 1,000's of empty seats!!

    Indeed...I was happy to see the grandstand looking pretty full...I guess the 'rubber match' between AK & Shack may have brought out more folks, or that 7 Derby horses ran...whatever it was, glad of it.
