How It All Began...
BATTLE OF THE SEXES
(B.O.T.S.)
Once Upon A Time in a Pasture far away there was a major argument going
on between some Colts and Fillies, causing a *Bold Ruckus*
The Colts contended that THEY were always Better, Faster, Stronger and
that in any Race, THEY would always Win!
The Fillies, who were just tired of the *Shenanigans* of the Big-Boys ~
debated that THEY were Smarter, More Clever
They were not Distracted by the
Opposite Sex as the Colts often are
And, Are 'More-Than-Ready'
to meet the Challenge
Therefore -
Their FOCUS was very much sharper!
They agreed to run a Race to see
WHO WAS RIGHT!
They all convinced their trainers and owners to set up the
Gender-Match-Race to decide this important Debate
They also agreed that no matter which group won------ they would
consider another Match Race in the Future and keep a Tally of which
group won more often during the Year
They all agreed to this proposal, due to the fact that on any given day,
track conditions may vary with the weather, affecting the running
surface and thus presenting an unfair advantage to a particular horse
--- OR Gender!
When THAT Day had ended, it proved
that the FILLIES knew what they had bragged about was FACT!
The Next Year Again Proved
The FILLIES ruled the Challenge
This Year Tho...
The COLTS are proving to be a Major
Force and Lead in the Series halfway
thru the season
As We Always Say In Racing
ANYTHING CAN + DOES HAPPEN
And It Ain't Over Till The Wire
