    Mares at Hill 'n' Dale

Of course I can't find the thread(s) now, but I recall at least one person referencing having visited Silverbulletday there. Do they actually allow that normally? Most farms, with a couple of notable exceptions, understandably don't want the general public around the mares/foals. But Hill 'n' Dale, unlike most farms, doesn't exactly welcome visitors to the stallions with open arms, either. So it surprises me that they'd let people see mares. Anyone have the scoop for me?

I got to see her twice recently along with her Midnight Lute filly. The manager, Joe Ramsey, says she does get visitors- I assume her owner (Pegram) allows it. Inquire with him (Joe)-- bc it was said on BH magazine a couple of months ago that featured the mare.

I also got to see Teeming and Lady Tak yearlings who were paddocked right next to SBD. I did ask if it was possible to see one or two other mares that were at the farm and he said its not possible like it was for SBD.

He is definitely a genuine guy and a wonderful person to talk with. I got to meet his lovely dog!
