Beyer gives Coil a 96 Beyer for his Haskell, but won't post Stay Thirsty figure

The figure in the Haskell seems low considering the track was not that fast and he ran as fast as Big Brown did when he won the Haskell.

The really disturbing trend though is Beyers unwillingness to post a figure for Stay Thirsty two days later. There was another route on the card too. These figures are becoming a little troubling. Are owners/trainers weighing in on these things and pressuring for figures? It reminds me of trainers who tell clockers what time they want posted to keep owners happy.

I'm no apologist for Beyer but I'm pretty sure different people do different tracks for him.

Could the explanation be that simple?

Dr.Roman's figures, the lower the better:

    Stay Thirsty (-55)
    Coil (-58)
You can see how they relate to other figures this year:

The Jim Dandy figure is being withheld to confuse Quiet Chris. It seems to be working.

I'm sure this all has to do with an unwillingness to post Stay Thirsty's figure.

Your shadow isn't really stalking you.
    It's a plot.

The beauty of the original post has many elements. It comes from someone who would A) criticize how the figure was calculated no matter what it is; B) dismiss the figure at any rate as inaccurate; C) scream "conspiracy" -- as he implies in the post -- if the figure isn't announced immediately; and, D) scream some other type of conpsiracy theory if the figure were announced immediately and was then later revised, as is sometimes the case.

Monmouth has been running a bit longer this season. I'm sure it is that simple.....more historical data to go on. Or, he just wants to piss you off.

Put two and two together and you've gotten down to the Beyer mystery......

Andy Beyer is waiting for Pletcher to get back to him so Pletcher can tell him what Beyer to give Stay Thirsty to keep Repole happy......

Final time means little to nothing

Several people commented that the track was playing very fast which I am sure why the figure is on the lower side. Really it isn't like we are seeing that many big figures anymore.

The most disturbing part is that we care what someone thinks in whatever incarnation he is in.

Imagine ANY review of ANY activity evaluated on the final aspect.

Imagine a play, novel, and sporting event, evaluated by final time, score or outcome with considering HOW that final time came about

That is what you get with a Beyer.

Bris gave Stay Thirsty a 107 and Coil a 106.

You have to admit posting Sunday's beyers at Saratoga before Saturdays is troubling. Makes no sense.

A 6YO shipper from Dubai with very slow speed figs ran a 1:07.4 in the 6F Teddy Drone, faster than Midnight Lute's BCC sprint win and almost equalling Idiot Proofs track record.

No...a 96 pretty much says that Rachel would have beaten him by a dozen lengths when she got a 116. Mr. Andy is really clueless now that he is rich. He delegates too much to underlings. I think he has just become lazy and his numbers become more meaningless everyday, just like Roman's dosage and Tomlinson's figs as well. They all used to mean something.

That 6YO shipper from Dubai was a very good 3YO sprinter, running mid to high 90 Beyer figs while winning three of five starts and also running behind the good sprinter Lantana Mob before being foolishly shipped to Dubai and mostly running on synth. Yet another horse that could have bolstered our good races in the US that wasted most of his career in Dubai. It's really a shame.
