Ugh on the Uncle Mo photo, it makes him look very common.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

He has a very pretty, refined head. I found the rest of him appealing too.

Agreed. I never really looked at him twice while he was racing, but he is very nice looking.

He is very handsome. Even thought that while he was racing.

I love everything about him, extremely well balanced, all the angles match. And that head is to die for!

Tizway is very handsome. If I had to find something wrong I'd say his neck may be a bit short but otherwise he is put together very well.

What was he retired for? Suspensory?

Yes, a diffused lesion in the suspensory branch of his left front leg.

Yeah, Mill Ridge has a terrific one of Balance and wish they'd put it up.

Tizway is a very attractive horse in the flesh... not perfect upfront but nice.
Nobody said giving Kirstie Alley a colonic would be easy.

Is it because he is over at the knee in the right front? (I'm trying to 'develop an eye' so to speak )

Horses are ideally set up for conformation evaluation with both front legs visible from the side. But since that means that the leg on the far side needs to be angled back rather than dropped straight down from the shoulder, it can sometimes look kind of funky even when, in actuality, there's nothing wrong.

I'm not trying to speak for Jas or this particular horse but very generally speaking when someone says that a horse isn't perfect up front it usually means that there are problems that cannot be seen in a photo taken from the side--that the horse must be observed head-on.

Not a horse I would breed to. Even the owner doesn't appear to have much confidence in him if he's letting people breed to him for free. Another horse with balls being bred, not what this industry needs.

And, his full brother has been bought back/is coming over for the 2013 season.
