He should be sociable... he is more akin to a "pet" than a tb foal. Loves the camera as Ephip pointed out. He already knows he is "IT".
Compare this foal to one with a comparable pedigree but is one of 20 foals in a field..sent en masse to breaking, training, sales...who arrives better physically and mentally ready. If Rachel's colt doesn't make it to race or become a :"star" it won't becasue he did't get a big head (sic)start!
I remember Jim Squires comment in his book on Monarchos (Not the expose book) on a foal he sold prior to Monarchos.
He said,"he watched this group of foals, and expected this particular colt to be a good racing prospect. Fastest in his group and an alpha sort. With great conformation.
A pinhooker came around and he sold the colt to her for 50k or 100k. He said, "he should have known better...the colt got to FL on a van, and the next time he saw him was at Saratoga sales. He was flabbergasted at how poor this colt looked. He looked sick and depressed. He knew no one was going to bid high for him...or at all. He sold a healthy, high-spirited colt only to have the little fellow deteriorate in a few months.
Not going to happen to this little colt.

I'd be amazed if he weren't bay, as it's highly unlikely Rachel has a red gene in her.
