It was a nice piece, but I have to say that I met this woman during morning workouts during Derby week. She was strange and...shall we say not very nice. I know I am late to the party because I haven't been keeping up, but when I went to the article and saw her name, I laughed out loud.

    Love this picture!
Anne loves that horse like I love my dog. She's got it bad. And Zen loves her. I love to see that. She must make very frequent trips to Ky. I'd probably have a part-time residence there!

love that photo. Zenyatta is just so big and regal looking. I could look at photos of her all day!

And as for the youngster! Is he one handsome fella or what!? If I didn't know who he was, I'd say he has to be a Bernardini and Zenyatta baby! He couldn't look anymore like the both of them.

Man, he is one gorgeous fella. I wish he had a nickname like Rachel's does. Oh, well....
He looks like both but he has momma's ears. Gawd those things are huge!! I am sure he will grow into them though.

let him break in front of the gates? If he's anything like mom at the start, it won't make a difference if he gets a 1 or 2 length head start!

It is amazing how similar he is to his mother. Without the baby fuzz, this looks just like a still shot of her in miniature from one of her pre-race war dances.

If little man can't fit in a starting gate, I would love to see him try his hand (or hoof, I should say) at dressage. I would have loved to see what Zenyatta could have done in a dressage arena; I had a silly fantasy scenario where she retired from racing and became an Olympic gold medalist in dressage

He's got his momma's big caboose, too, doesn't he? It's amazing how much he looks like her.

LOL That would have been a sight to see! Zen always liked to put on a show and already had that dance step down instinctively. She is so bright, I honestly believe she would have picked it up in no time flat.
