Maybe Keane Stud had this in mind all along as they just sold Read The Footnotes to stud duty in Oklahoma in a deal brokered by Schumer Bloodstock.

Was RTF really that bad in NY? He had graded stakes winners/placed Socialsaul and even G1 Ballerina victress Rightly So last season!

Wouldn't surprise me, I always thought he is one handsome dude.

(scroll 3/4 of the way down towards the bottom of page)

My question is: why did Darby Dan leave his advertised stud fee at $15K (the highest of all Darby Dan Stallions?)

I know Fipke wanted to make him the next El Prado or N.A.'s Galileo, but what went wrong here? PS's progeny seems to like turf and poly and can close at even sprint distances!
Thanks for this info, I missed this Tweet also. A little surprised, since I always thought Perfect Soul was the headliner of the Darby Dan stallion corps.

Darley and Lanes End are becoming must visits during their open house. I want to see if Regal Ransom gives me that same "oh my" feeling the first time I ever saw him. Gorgeous animals.

Everybody can smell that NY money!

Sequel Stallions New York (at Hudson) has been reopened -- and Freud and Noonmark are moving back there from Keane Stud (at Armenia), where they stood as Sequel Stallions at Keane Stud

Plus, they're taunting us with their supposedly exciting forthcoming announcement about a new outstanding stallion for next year.

    Re: Stallion news

Heard from a friend in NY that Freud is moving to Ky ... this hasn't been confirmed, though.

    Re: Stallion news

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

    Re: Stallion news

Yeah, apparently her info was wrong, 'cause Freud just changed farms in NY.

There's an ad for Pick Six (G2 placed son of Dynaformer) up on EquineNow.com

And apparently another big advertising angle for this farm is their "luscous" pastures. :-P
What is it about single-toed ungulates running around an oval for approximately 90 seconds that inspires people to bet billions of dollars and devote their entire lives to the activity?

    LOL

He's actually an attractive horse and certainly from a lovely family, if not much of a sire producing family.

I think you could do a lot worse than this guy. Dynaformer leading sire and sire of sires with Heavenly Prize Close up. Solid ff. Big guy like his dad - if he had a G2 win it would look a lot better.
