Pics from Breeder's Cup weekend (including the races themselves, and some farms)

I have tons more pics on Facebook; PM me if you want info. They're not the best but they're good enough...we are still figuring out the new camera!

This has nothing to do with you or you photos, but Smart Strike looks like a broodmare.

I'll have to go back and look at my shots of him a year ago, but I don't recall him looking quite that enormous. I mean really ... when is he due?

Well he wasn't alone in that appearance. No shortage of feed at Lane's End!

    Oh my!

    Love the photos!

I posted on the blogspot, but that first picture of Goldikova you have posted. I totally know who that girl in the blue jacket is.

Wasn't that barn cat at Airdie Stud a hoot? We went there in the afternoon before we left to fly home. Also did the Lane's End open house.

Halloween... the only time a Haflinger has a snowball's chance of running in the Breeders Cup.

Mighty Mitch ... though he be but little, he's convinced he's actually 20 hands tall.

Funny you should mention barn cats. At every farm that I have toured, the barn cat always finds me, it's like I'm the pied pipper or something. The cat at Gainsway was very upset when I had to leave. Was a few years ago, not sure if the same guy is still around.

That is too funny--I saw your comment on blogspot and responded. Do you have those photos you were taking--perhaps I am in there!

Yes that cat was something else. He was all over my husband--LOL!

I have pictures of the cat. We also made friends with the cat by the graves at the Three Chimneys Open House and the three barn cats in the Aaron and Marie Jones barn at Taylor Made.

I looked at the pictures I was taking of Goldikova. I have one shot that might match yours. There's the guy with the video camera, Goldi and her handlers and then in the background ... people. Were you wearing anything black like a jacket with a pinkish-purplish shirt on under that?

I am petite with long wavy red hair--the red hair is pretty easy to spot! I also had on a knee-length brown coat with a lot of beige stitching on it (flowers and leaves), and blue jeans with tall brown boots. Hubby is a foot taller than me and had on a gray/navy blue windbreaker. He's the one taking most of the pics.

I saw a woman with red hair, but her coat looked black. Was your husband wearing blue?
