    Post Request

I'm looking for any pictures of the following.
Marked Tree(RIP) out of Lazer Show by Forty Niner
    Wild One 1992
    Remarkably 2001 Filly
    Chablis Marked Tree/Wild One
Wild Texas Marked Tree/ Wild One
The weird thing with Marked Tree is all his pictures have been removed. There are alot of broken links and urls to pictures that used to be there.

Marked Tree is NOT "OUT OF" Forty Niner! Forthy Niner is a stallion, not a mare!

Sorry, but that is a pet peeve of mine...horses are sired by stallions, OUT OF mares.

Sorry you're absolutely correct. I must have been more sick than I thought yesterday. Maybe I should take some ibuprofen to keep this fever down... D:

Sorry, I went as far as contacting JEH Stallion Station and they say they have no photos of him. If the former owners don't have any pictures, I don't know where to find any. They did tell me to try and find old Bloodhorse stallion directories.

All the photos that used to be on the internet of him are now broken links.

That makes sense because they were probably put there by JEH and they honestly told me they have no photos of him.

Why would they take them off?

Most of the sites that I've found that had a broken link to a Marked Tree picture were probably linked to the picture that JEH used to have on their webpage. When they deleted their pictures, it would break the links on the other sites.

Why would JEH remove them? He earned them 8 million. I'd be proud of that.

Re Marked Tree: You could try contacting Remington Park if they still have a copy of the win photo from the 1993 Remington Park Derby, or if they have any idea who took them back then. Photographers are pack rats...

Most farms take stallions off their webpages that are dead, pensioned or sold. I think its pretty rare that they keep them up. The bigger name stallions, you will be able to find a photo of because there are so many photos of them.

    Re: Request

I would think that the owner of each sire/dam would be most likely to still have photos, or just possibly the owner (original maybe more so than last owner) of the respective offspring. The odds of finding photos owned by the general public are pretty bad. They might be out there, but the odds of anyone remembering when exactly they took a specific picture, much less what horse they had taken a picture of.
