Re: Horrible Names For Horses

i guess if you really love chicken liver it's ok but "Sam's Chicken Liver" sounded like a good candidate for this thread. whatever floats your boat... also i guess we're only going for current horses, not any from the past, but it's too late for me to go back and delete my submission! x2

Re: Happiness

first there were fires, then there was evidence of a bad bird attack in adrich's yard... and then he noticed how long it had been since he'd seen his favourite bird, who we named franklin. he knocked on the windows and stuck his head in the seed bag and hung upside down on the gutter to look in at a...

Yes Higher Power surprised and disappointed me. Perhaps it just wasn't his day and he's alright. Maybe no Lasix affected him..... Very curious to know if the post race scoping results to determine bleeding for all horses will be made public? i heard he was off his feed earlier this week but that th...

Candid shot of Take Charge Indy by Housatonic back in the states. Anybody see any issues with him? Obviously you can't tell from a photo but a user on here was claiming he was lame and did not need to be mounting mares and they would never breed to him. was that regarding a pic of him in the breedi...

Re: De Coronado in Libya?

he was not at that farm. Flanders already told you the farm released the names of the stallions they lost and De Coronado was not one of them.

hopefully someone knows where he is, but that farm wasn't it.

am i really that bad at explaining my thought process?? You were crystal clear. Your own words, "i wasn't attacking Chrome fans, specifically. i was attacking the crazy horse fans in general..." What do ANY fans have to do with those horrible incidents? The fact that you linked what, in your opinio...

i'm not sure why i bother posting here since no one ever gets anything i'm trying to say. i wasn't attacking Chrome fans, specifically. i was attacking the crazy horse fans in general that think any horse going over seas is going to be slaughtered. he was just the most recent, so his name was what i...

partly because of... THOSE racing "fans"... the "they're going to turn Chrome into a burger!" ones... i wonder how much strain these 2 attacks will put on selling/loaning/shuttling overseas. it was brought up after the first, but this is 2 in quick succession.

Re: Stallions and Mares Stolen in Attack on Al Shaab Stud

"They shot two horses (who) were wounded in the legs … no one could provide the ambulance to help the horse with euthanasia," he said.
i'd be surprised if any of the 12 horses are still alive, but i hope, somehow, they are, and can be rescued.
