Re: Across the pond

William Haggas has this morning announced that Sea of Class (2nd to Enable in the Arc last year, Irish Oaks winner) is fighting for her life after a bout of colic. She underwent surgery on Wednesday which has ended her career at this point. Just really hoping this exceptional filly pulls through. Sh...

Re: Royal Ascot 2019

Yea I agree, Defoe has clearly found his stride this season and he had some good horses behind him, Nagano Gold may also be a lot better than everyone expects. I hope more and more trainers and owners from the so called 'Division 2' racing countries bring over their horses for a crack at some of the...

Re: 2019 Belmont Stakes

Omaha Beach has the door wide open, if he comes back in the same form as he left off in he might very well take the 3yo Eclipse!

Last year’s Derby hero Masar makes his seasonal debut in the Hardwicke. The field has shaped up pretty well with Grade 1 winner on last start Defoe also in the field.

Re: Royal Ascot 2019

I know better than to ask for colored saddle cloths, but.. How about some chicklets? And while we 'mericans are at it, how about some fractional times displayed during the race,? And finally, how about a little map of the track in the corner of the screen so we know where they are? Thanks in advanc...

Re: Royal Ascot 2019

This may be a dumb question, but why don't they have "ponies" and outriders during their meets? Is it just the way they do things or do they have a specific reason? I suppose it might be because each trainer has their own yard and they train at training facilities rather than on racecourses (though...

Re: Royal Ascot 2019

Show Me Show Me broke through the gate before the start of the Windsor Castle and ran down the track, when they tried to catch him he took off back towards the stalls. He finally cantered back down towards the finish line and was caught but maybe here in the UK we should think about getting outride...

Why the change of subject line since this is a thread about the Met Mile?
I think it’s meant in jest since the Met Mile is sponsored by Runhappy. And let’s face it, what isn’t these days 🙄

Re: Across the pond

Wasn't sure where to post this but across the pond, Jamie Osborne's barn experienced a fire. It looks as though part of his house burned down but thankfully no human or horse (or any other animal for that matter) was injured. Furthermore, Constanzia (a 2yo filly) who was stuck in her stall due to th...
