Re: Boycott of Bloodhorse and Stronach Tracks

Oh CatMan, don't get so dramatic, it takes all fun out of watching thelittleguy's panties get all bunched up. Let's keep to the facts in front of us. 117 individual posters shared their personal thoughts here about Jeremy in a unanimous fashion of support. And along comes one poster who says "he wa...

Didn't Mr. Balan himself say that he resigned?

TA, the real issue here is that you quoted Stark. The ignore feature doesn't work on quotes so I kindly request that all people refrain from this. Thank you.
Guilty as charged. I humbly apologize.

Re: Boycott of Bloodhorse and Stronach Tracks

Firing someone for doing their job is ridiculous. I'm in NO way condoning anyone's behavior in this situation, but he was not fired. I think what you meant to say was "Nah nah nah-nah nahhh, I'm an industry insider and I know somethin you don't know, nah nah nah-nah nahhh" Otherwise I'm not sure wh...

Paulick isn't perfect but he's not afraid to take the industry to task. I'm looking forward to a lengthy opinion piece.

Re: The Rebel Parts I and II

I'll bet the dumb kid rode to the trainers instructions about not pushing the horse hard enough in his first race back, after all, winning the Rebel prep race is not the objective. I doubt Bob is too happy with Drayden's ride, having nothing to do with what he may or may not have done in the stretc...

Re: 2019 Three-Year-Olds

Good to hear. He deserves another chance especially since he seems to be one of the more talented on the trail thus far. It's certainly not going to ruin the horse to run in one more Derby prep. But where does the cycle end? So he gets a relatively easy final Derby prep, let's say like Pulpit or Ho...

Re: 2019 Three-Year-Olds

I will be very surprised if Mott and Juddmonte sacrifice Hidden Scroll in pursuit of the Derby. He's too good a horse to rush into another Derby prep, and then the Derby itself, after such a difficult race in his second start. He very well may turn out to be the best of this crop, but very possibly ...

Re: 2019 Three-Year-Olds

I thought for a second that Hidden Scroll was going to pull away and win easily. The top three (Code of Honor, Bourbon War, Vekoma) all look like they could be decent horses. They might....and they still weren't the best horses in the race. Hidden Scroll ran remarkably well under the circumstances.

Speaking of lists....TimeformUS enters the fray.... http://www.horseraceinsider.com/HRI-Feature/comments/02222019-timeformus-kentucky-derby-ratings-crowded-at-the-top That is the strangest Derby list I've ever seen. Too bad about Maximus Mischief, but thank God they caught the problem before it became catastrophic.
It sounds like a tendon issue. Those don't become catastrophic.

I thought Best made some comments about not caring about the Derby and wanting to have a good 4YO, or something like that, but maybe I'm wrong.

He doesn't seem like an easy owner:-)

Sharp Cat?
I just watched the 98 Beldame & it didn't look to be her. Such a nice mare.
That's because her tail was tied tightly.

She was a tail swisher. Watch her second in the BC Distaff.

Not a lot of her races are available.
