Re: The rise of Sunday Silence

Seeing a lot of (nice) ads for Yoshida and I gotta say it's very amusing and ironic to see American breeders be like "Hey guys look! SUNDAY SILENCE BLOODLINE!!!!!" After the Great American Mistake of 1990. This is kinda funny indeed :D And I'm guessing something similar is bound to happens soon wit...

Re: Racing in Japan

Almond Eye looked very tired at the end. Apparently 2500m is too long for her  Another great mare won, congrats to Lys Gracieux! Found a replay... what a magnificent run by Lys Gracieux. Sired by an Arima Kinen winner, now one herself. And the global campaign she had, too... what a mare. Wow. ...

Re: Racing in Japan

Last night I had a dream about Almond Eye winning the Arima Kinen. Let's hope it's a dream that will come true

She might have become my favorite Japanese racehorse ever with Orfevre.

A great racehorse that had a long and successful career and won on both surface... I think he will do great in Japan! With the death of both Deep Impact and King Kamehameha I think that Japan is looking for their next superstar stallion ;) Animal Kingdom, Brick And Mortar, Hawkbill, California Chrom...

It was beautiful to see. She's clearly above the rest and I'm convinced she would have won the Arc.

I've been a fan of Mer De Glace since I've seen him win his first G3 in Japan. He is so beautiful, dark with a big blaze and very talented too! I'm very happy to see him win his first G1 :D

Yay! I'm so happy!
With his versatility (though he's probably a better turf sire), I think he will do great in Japan :D

I wonder, of his many sons at stud (or who will go to stud at the conclusion of their racing careers), who will pick up the torch. So many group I winners.
I'd like to see Kizuna succeed at stud. He's beautiful and has a great pedigree on the dam side as well.

Does anyone know what happened to @LongBallToNoOne twitter account? :?

He was my #1 source for horse racing in Japan and I miss reading his posts. :(

If anyone can recommend another good twitter source about horse racing in Japan, I'm taking!

Re: 2019 Kentucky Derby

I kinda wish I could rerun this year Kentucky Derby with no incident. I still think Maximum Security would have won but I'm curious to what would have happened behind with no horses impacted.
