Re: California Chrome to Japan

All this being said, I think his sale can also be a commentary on where the sport stands in America. The foal share agreement for California and the West is a problem because pretty much all those circuits are on life support. The Taylors depend on the industry for their wealth. It seems to me they...

OMG THEY'RE GOING TO EAT HIM

Seriously, what's the consensus on his yearlings? I've seen some that look good, others -- meh.

Re: PETA Is A Bully

I am wondering what PETA actually does FOR animals. I know the ASPCA does a loooot of good work. All I ever hear about Peta is that they are working the PR machinery. Apart from them putting pets down in their shelters. What kind of animal rights organization runs a kill shelter?!? There are so man...

Re: Stallion News

I saw it when it first started brewing on Twitter and yeah, the DRF article and associated facts are VASTLY different than the original message being spun. :roll: Every controversy should be subject to the 48 hour rule. If, after 48 hours, the original facts and context are still intact, then go ah...

@maggimoss

Interesting chart from Churchill today- owner/trainer showing no starts on equibase claims 3 filly’s - 40,000 out of one race! Wishing them luck!

Don't see anything racist or sexist with Starks posting btw. I know you aren't from the US, but Aqueduct is in a predominately working class neighborhood. I think it's important to consider that when he/she asks if people who attend this track are intelligent enough to decipher anything. This forum...

Re: 2019 BC Classic

No way to know, is there. Lack of such knowledge does not change the overall point, does it. Actually, yes it does. A specific horse has been named. Your admitted "lack of such knowledge" renders your commentary little more than worthless bloviating (at best) and at worst, an ugly smear of the hors...

Re: 2019 BC Classic

Drugs; steroids; stuff done to yearlings to prime them for sales; excessive inbreeding; breeding only for the sales fashion of the day Did any of these apply to Mongolian Groom, a homebred by (relatively speaking) nothing out of nothing? No way to know, is there. Lack of such knowledge does not cha...

Gosh, life was much simpler when a few words from Sol Kumin caused your panties to get all bunched up, little did you know what storyline was ahead and something actually worth getting upset about.

Re: Breeders Cup Discussion?

did anyone see any contact between WoW and Mongolian Groom late in the stretch? during the live broadcast, it looked like WoW was slowing down or pulling up near the rail and Tyler G was looking behind him at Mongolian Groom who was also getting pulled up and you could tell, MG had gone wrong. Ther...

I've been watching the SA feed on RTN (tv is occupied with football). They spent 10 minutes with the camera on Code of Honor and he looks unhappy. (And half the size of Vino Rosso.) Elate's as cool as a cuke.

Actually you seem offended by her enthusiasm. I’m not certain stating that “execution is hard” is the best choice of phrasing in this instance. However, I get the point but then anything worth doing is hard. I don't care about her enthusiasm. I do care that blabbering utopians don't sign an industr...
