FWIW, Paulick's latest poll asks: " If voting were today, who would get your vote for Horse of the Year? Re: 2020 Matings

Coolmore may end up stacked with good Scat Daddy sons. With No Nay Never, Caravaggio, Mendelssohn and Justify, they've invested in SC's line pretty deeply. Coolmore also had Souix Nation, but I'm not sure he's standing at one of their farms. :? I think Sioux Nation is in Australia. Whoops, it is Sa...

Magical will visit No Nay Never in 2020.
No Nay Never is now getting the 'A' Team mares from Coolmore. What a future that boy has ahead of him.

Re: Stallion News

Just saw Spendthrift's 2020 roster & fees...any word on what happened to Can the man?...it seemed like he was having a decent year. Medal Count dropped off the roster as well. Danza gone too. Per an email I saw, Danza and Medal Count will still be owned by Spendthrift while moved to a Regional mark...

Re: Horse Racing Is Its Own Worst Enemy

When I read the article - I assumed the same thing- that’s there’s nothing really criminal about it. But going to the actual PETA article, it seems there’s some confusion as to HOW she actually died. The story is she may not have broken down, but that she hit her head on a wall, then still raced, “...

Re: Stallion News

As for mares for Animal Kingdom, the Japanese breeders love German bloodlines, which AK has in Acatenango. The JBBA wouldn't have invested without getting a good measure on the market demand. Drefong drew 204 mares for his debut season and Mind Your Biscuits had 155 mares...and it was said War of De...

Since he is 6 with 11 lifetime starts, and retiring a month before the biggest race of the season, I'm going to assume he is lame again. Full credit to the connections for the patience they had with the horse and really getting the most out of him after what I can only assume were a lot of frustrat...

Coolmore hasn't said anything about it, but I wonder how accessible Practical Joke is? With the success of Goldencents at stud, and if he's hard to get ahold of now, I would assume PJ isn't having trouble filling his books. He was exceptional on the track as well. He got 220 mares in 2018. I think ...

Re: 2019 Two-Year-Olds

With over 150 two year olds from his first crop it's not surprising - but it IS sort of nice to see an American Pharoah offspring running in the race named after him. I hadn't realized until checking the stakes entries that this race also offers Kentucky Derby points - but only for the winner, who ...
