Re: Mandatory DNR in American covid19 patients..ethics violation yes or no?

Aside from the ventilator shortage, I believe one of the rationales for the mandatory DNR is to not expose large numbers of healthcare workers to the viral shedding that would occur during CPR. And honestly, when COVID patients deteriorate to the point of cardiac arrest, there's not much hope anyway.

Re: Claiborne Farm Virtual Stallion Tour

So glad the farms are doing these! (Although I'm not on Facebook, hopefully they will repost these on you tube). I had several tours booked with Horse Country for the first week of April and they have been absolutely wonderful despite I'm sure being very busy and stressed out. Can't wait to visit Le...

Re: What Race Got You Into This?

Thoroughbred series when I was growing up. Then the TV show Jockeys introduced me to Mike Smith and Zenyatta and then I became a die hard fan.

Anybody here cash in on a future-bet wager that horse racing would be the only active sport in America in March 2020?
For this reason I think that the Derby could still bring in a ton of money if run without a crowd. There is literally nothing else going on. Not that CDI deserves it.

Re: Shackleford

Since Shackleford is no longer listed on the stallion register at bloodhorse, are there any other ways to keep up with his offspring other than virtual stable?

Re: Stallion News

Shack is one of the reasons I fell in love with horse racing. I left a pool party in Vegas to go watch his Preakness. I'm heartbroken, but not surprised. Glad I had the chance to meet him at Darby Dan a few years ago. Hopefully he will come home someday.

Re: Zenyatta News

I was at Lane's End in April and our tour guide said that she had been bred to Candy Ride. If she was bred again on June 9th, she must have lost that one. Poor girl has not had a lot of luck being a mama.
