Nicole Russo @DRFRusso · 23m Versatile MGSW Flameaway (Scat Daddy) has been retired and will stand at @darbydanfarm in 2020. Yippee I'm thrilled i've lived to see the day that a win in the (G3) Sam F. Davis at Tampa Downs makes you a stallion. Do you ever have anything positive to say, or are you c...

@ Spendthrift Australia - Ribblesdale Stud

I saw a ghost! Filly by Jimmy Creed out of Crooked Smile (Encosta de Lago). Her half-brother Solid Asset (Walking or Dancing) won impressively the afternoon after she was born.

Re: horses with unique coloring/facial markings

Also, not a "unique" color, but I really love this shade of gray and the Ramseys have got one of those too! This is a filly by Kitten's Joy out of Laca (Cherokee Run). She's half to SW Chief Kitten . Second dam is Japan-bred Ibuki Percieve (Carleon), who was a G3W and MG1P in Japan. https://scontent...

The Ramseys are selling this beautiful yearling colt at Fasig-Tipton on Thursday. He's by Kitten's Joy out of Treqqer (Cape Cross). Dam side has Rainbow Quest, Sadler's Wells , and Foolish Pleasure . Broodmare of the Year Natashka is also one of his ancestors. https://scontent-ort2-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/...

Re: New Stallions of 2020

St. Patrick's Day was a nice winner on the dirt, so who knows what would have happened if Coolmore hung up the Euro turf dream and put him back on it.

Hopefully he makes a lot of smaller breeders very happy. He's certainly not the worst thing to retire to stud recently.

2yo/c Sunrise Leicester (Frankel x Adoration) will make his racing debut at Kyoto on Sunday. His dam (by Honor Grades) won the 2003 Breeders' Cup Distaff. Audible @ $25,000.. no thank you
Now there's one who isn't worth the $25K. But Win$tar will get him 100+ nonetheless.

Anybody know if TCI is back from Soko yet?

I'm not sure Catholic boy is even worth a 25k fee Let's make a comparison to another recent Claiborne retiree whose initial fee was also $25K. Longpost, sorry in advance. Mastery was undefeated in 4 starts, all on dirt, with the bulk of his wins coming as a juvenile. He was retired after fracturing...
