Re: Racing in Dubai Sale - September 2019

I am curious as to what makes these guys "unsuitable for breeding in the UAE." What breeding is there in the UAE anyway? Also I was under the impression Godolphin had a generally good retraining/rehoming program. I saw an article last year about how some of their runners have gone on to be horses fo...

Re: Stallion News

Shoutout to Cadet Connelly for giving his sire Grey Swallow a G1 competitor. He was second in the G1 Summer Stakes.

He's also out of an English Channel mare. Bred by Calumet of course!

Re: Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses

Acker, whose second dam is Halfbridled, was second in the Los Alamitos Special.

Meistermind, half to Mind That Bird and Dullahan by Bodemeister, was third.

Soul Beam, half to Sky Kingdom by Perfect Soul, was fourth.

Got Stormy still ran a really great race and I think she's good enough for the Mile.

Re: Across the pond

I have a question about Irish racing. There's only two Irish TC winners, and it's been a coon's age since them. I can't remember the last time a horse even had a shot at the ITC. It probably wasn't in my lifetime. Is there a reason for this? Is it just that hard? I've read that the reason there's s...

Leslie's Lady has produced great runners/producers from three different sires. Into Mischief is by Harlan's Holiday, Beholder is by Henny Hughes, and Coolmore's own Mendelssohn is by their own Scat Daddy. She is not a one trick, or should I say "one mating partner", pony. A baby produced from she an...
