Re: Santa Anita to close ...

I wonder how your wife would feel about your predilection towards former posters who identify as female (or the enjoyment of going after posters who identify as female) Unless you guys are swingers? Into threesomes? Dishonest? I'm not sure and 2/3 of those isn't bad..

Re: Day 2

Hope you, your hubby and your kids are doing well, SC.

I spent the past 5 hours facetiming with my family and can't help think of how weirdly lucky we are to live in this particular age. The times are not lucky but they are in some ways.

Re: Santa Anita to close ...

Great. Something else to be depressed about. I’m bummed. I’m bummed because I was looking forward to seeing Honor A.P. in the SA Derby, because following racing has been a distraction from all the crappy things going on, because there’s no baseball, no sports, no entertainment. I don’t understand w...

Re: Day 2

Welp, boyfriend's uncle has it. Which means his aunt has it, which means this entire house was exposed except myself and my boyfriend... nothing you can do, it was an emergency. Mostly concerned for his parents. I still think he and I had it in February. Today's positives: - My assistant told me tod...

Javier isn't based out of NY in the Winter. I don't believe he has been at Aqueduct since December.
Aqueduct will be coronavirus itself.
I guess you decided to stop pretending you weren't QC.
NYS is scouting it for a potential temp hospital site tomorrow....

Re: Day 2

Happy Early Birthday! I bet you find a well to make it special. Maybe order yourself a gift online? Are any restaurants doing pickup near you? May many happy and healthy years be ahead of you. It has been a weird 24hours for me - a good friend had asked me to be the executor of her estate should she...

Re: Gulfstream threatens legal action if forced to shut down racing

Alcohol is hell on the complexion and I am vain. Sadly, autocorrect is it's own beast. I have a work computer for work only. Otherwise it is my tiny phone and double astigmatism.

Growing up on Reddit taught me a few things though.

Re: Gulfstream threatens legal action if forced to shut down racing

I don't think it's just the racing. It's the other people who will need to be there, like the tv crew. Studios are an extreme tight fit; my sister works in news and they actually have everyone working in an individual a studio alone. She works for a big company though. I doubt Gulfstream has this bu...

Shame them on social media. That seems to be the only way companies seem to do anything.

As for wax warmers, I do have one electric one, but for the most part the ones I use need tealight candles. I have a bad habit of forgetting to turn the electric one off and the tealights only last for tops 3 hours. I have a hard time finding scents I actually like and don't give me a migraine, so ...

Day 5, or whatever day it is - 10 bike bike ride - cleaned my fridge - cleaned my kitchen floor Sadly, everyone is still moronic and I bet the NYS parks system will be shut down within the week. Re: Day 2

Apparently, Cuomo today ordered all non-essential businesses closed and everyone to stay home. He's not calling it "sheltering in place" because that usually means there's an active shooter or something... but that's essentially what he's ordering. I think you can likely still go out and get exerci...
