I think this is a great idea, it will put more value on the resulting foals, better quality mares for the stallion, and so often each year I hear these KY stallions are exhausted going to the breeding shed. I even think any stallion over 17 should have a limited book.
I sure hope we don't have more heartbreak and disaster at the Camarero Race Track when Dorian hits landfall in Puerto Rico. Hopefully horses are being moved inland to higher ground. Praying for no deaths!

Goodbye Nick’s Honor, we will miss you. You’ve always been a gentle mare, and a great mother to your babies. Your 2019 Nyquist filly is happy with her nurse mare and she will carry on your legacy.

I'm excited for Galileo x Stellar Wind, even though we won't see a photo. I'm also excited for any and all Bal a Bali foals, Cupid foals, Blofeld foals...and the two Mylute foals Lord willing .
1st mare due at farm I work at is having a Bal a Bali foal.

I am so upset about the comments regarding the euthanasia of Soaring Empire on The Blood Horse article. I work on the farm and I saw this animal struggle with his blindness. It took 3 people 2 hrs to get him to walk from his paddock to into the barn because the horse refused to walk because he could...
My family and I buried dad yesterday. It was a beautiful day, beautiful ceremony, and we all have beautiful memories. I was able to read my story about dad, my grown children did too. Mom who is also at the same nursing home dad was, did great. She's recovering from a stroke, but had direct instruct...
