Re: New Stallions of 2020

It's not unheard of for the less-accomplished full brothers of great racehorses to turn out to be decent sires. Giant's Causeway's sibling, Freud, did pretty well for himself. Going further back, Vice Regent (Northern Dancer) was the leading sire in Canada 13 times. He won 2 races, and $6200 His fu...

Re: Stallion News

Just saw Spendthrift's 2020 roster & fees...any word on what happened to Can the man?...it seemed like he was having a decent year. Medal Count dropped off the roster as well. Danza gone too. Per an email I saw, Danza and Medal Count will still be owned by Spendthrift while moved to a Regional mark...

Re: Stallion Headshots Collection

Some artsy headshots of Corinthian at Evicmen Stud, Turkey Not sure how I missed these before, but thank you for posting them. Glad to see him looking well, if a little light and wild looking. I wish he'd have been the Pulpit to have all the sire success. Easy Goer only had about 50 daughters, I'd ...

Who is it?

Alriiiight, I've grown tired of searching LOL Can anyone identify this stallion, or the farm? This is not Sadler's Wells, and obviously not Coolmore. He looks very familiar, but I can't for the life of me place him. Shame the legs are partially amputated.... http://www.horseracingphoto.co.uk/wp-cont...

No mention of what injury he might've sustained, but World of Trouble retires to Hill n Dale earlier than planned. His fee is $15,000.

Re: New Conformation Photos

Figured they would have been by now.
I prefer Mendy as well, looks more like his sire line and looks the type to get a more versatile horse than Justify.

Apologies if these were posted, but just happened to see them on Coolmore's site. I did do a Forum search but it didn't bring these up if previously posted. Re: horses with unique coloring/facial markings

Logician, who just won the St. Leger, is registered as roan. But isn’t it impossible for Tbreds to be roan? Or is it just a registry thing and he’s not actually a true roan? He's grey, not roan. Dam is grey, dam sire is grey, etc etc etc. Believed roan exists in one single mutated line with only a ...

Let's see what happens when Democratic Values debuts on Friday back at Belmont Park. Klaravitch/Brown/Castellano teaming up with a colt with a string of works on the main track at Saratoga that suggest he as some talent. Watch him work on xbtv.com in advance and tell me he's a one paced grinder. I ...

Re: Honor Code ...

. It's pretty sad that you can't deal with people who disagree with you except to say we're defensive; no, we're correcting your incorrect belief that Honor Code was a grinding, slow, plodder. AP Indy generally raced mid-pack; so, while a closer in the sense that he was no front runner, he didn't h...
