2yo filly Sharing (Speightstown-Shared Account) broke her maiden by 6 1/4 lengths today in R3 at Saratoga. The race was originally carded for 8.5f on the turf but came off and was run at 7 furlongs on the dirt instead.

1989 BC Classic - the one and only Easy Goer. ^^ This..... always this. 3 strides past the wire..... *sigh. If wait all Day had left him a little less work to do... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ii3uxsveFk This^^^ Switch the jockeys and Easy Goer would have won by daylight. In the Preakness, too.

Got Stormy has spots all over her head and neck. Does she have them all over her body?

Re: Hard Spun Foals

Green Light Go just won race #8, the Saratoga Special by 3 or 4 lengths. Very impressive. He's now 2 for 2. Could be a "special" one! I think he is Hard Spun's 74th stakes winner. Unusual for Hard Spun to have a stakes winner at 2. Most of his blossom later. Hard Not To Like won the Cup and Saucer ...

Green Light Go won the Saratoga Special in dominating fashion. With his size and pedigree (Hard Spun out of a Pleasantly Perfect mare), the tall bay should be able to handle increasing distance. I hope we get to see him in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile.
Running without Lasix, too.

La Megalodon c. Palace Malice x Shooting Party (1/2 to Breaking Lucky, Quake Lake) I wonder if the colt is big and a biter. :o Because when I think of a Megaladon, what I envision is huge with a mouth full of huge teeth. ;) I do hope that Palace Malice does well at stud; he was a fine racehorse and...

I just cannot get behind a horse who comes from a sire line of big, slower maturers and with a grandsire with zig-zag legs... who runs THAT fast. How long is he going to be around???
His dam made 32 starts—maybe he’ll take after her.

Mr. Money won the Indiana Derby. He’s a running freak, and he’s become my favourite 3-year-old colt.
He won the WV Derby (G3) today by 6 lengths. He may not be the best 3yo colt, but he’s become the most consistent.

Stradivarius won his 3rd Goodwood Cup (GI this year) comfortably. He remains unbeaten in his last 8 starts now.
So happy to see this. He and Enable are my favorites. I hope Too Darn Hot runs well tomorrow.
