It was a rough day...the highs and lows of the sport. I was so happy they were able to save Jump Start. Twenty is too young ...

Suburban may be next.

I didn’t realize Global Campaign is a 1/2 to Bolt d’Oro AND Sonic Mule! He just won the Peter Pan S (G2) today.

Re: 2019 Preakness Stakes

Do people not remember Country House ran 3 tough races in 6 weeks? And, that Mott generally takes his time with his horses and doesn’t run them into the ground? Why would Mott change his philosophy just to have a chance in 1 race? Prior to the Derby, Mott wasn’t entirely sure they would run him, bec...

Beyer numbers are bonkers.

I had Liora and Lady Apple in the right order yesterday... but I was wrong on the winner. Which is the story of my life.
Do you play matchups?
Nope. Would you tell me more about them?

That head on really shows it.

When I defended the decision, I actually had someone say the stewards violated a serious moral law yesterday...

Has anybody seen Country House in person? He looks like a big boy in photos.
He’s big. Mott has said he’s a strong, robust horse. I think he wasn’t as bothered by being slammed into because he’s a brick wall.

Re: 2019 Triple Crown

I think it’s a lot to ask Country House to come back in the Preakness. The horse ran 3 races in 6 weeks. Pimlico isn’t the track for big, long-striding horses. However, it would be fun if he did win!

Re: 2019 Kentucky Derby

How many people mad that Maximum Security was DQed are also mad that Bayern was not DQed? Question of the day for me I still believe Bayern should be taken down. These are top racehorses - if they cannot be in a race without causing serious trouble because they are green, they should not be in the ...

The Derby is becoming a joke. It just goes to show you owner's don't care if trainers have killed horses in the past with unnecessary drugs, all they care about is winning. The sport is becoming a joke. Why don't we just reward Santa Anita for all their breakdowns while we are at it, and move the B...
