Re: Foals of 2020

@ Northview Stallions First foal for Northview is a blazey filly by the late Jump Start . The filly, from her sire's last crop, if out of Bioterp (Lion Hearted). https://scontent-dfw5-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/82567341_2655934954500244_537644800682229760_n.jpg?_nc_cat=106&_nc_oc=AQmFMqST6gq_iOG9Egevk...

Next Question, Cajun Beat Die at Old Friends Farms https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/237994/next-question-cajun-beat-die-at-old-friends-farms It’s always sad when we hear this news. Cajun Beat sounded like he lived a good life after racing. Q was adorable and also well loved. May the...

Anyone remember Wesley Ward’s Finnegan ? He’s just got the weirdest record and now he’s entered for $5000 as a 7 year old after no starts for a year: 2015: April, May, August starts 2016: December start 2017: Jan, Feb, April, June, Dec starts 2018: April, December starts 2019: none 2020: entered Why...

I like bouncy horses with some fire. Reminded me of Shared Belief.
I like Independence Hall a lot! I love the pedigree, the way he moves, and he’s very athletic.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say we’re likely not looking at another Princequillo... Here’s my other question about the $16,000 price - did nobody on the entire track/racing world think he was any good? Because he would have been a helluva claim (Math Wizard too). There are some pretty savvy tr...

Re: Stallion News

I don’t particularly find Max Security an enticing stallion prospect. Sure, he can run. WHY did they decide to start him in a $16,000 maiden claiming race? That’s a pretty cheap race! What the hell was/is wrong with him? It makes me suspicious. Anyone able to identify a claiming horse that has gone ...

I assume that they are banking on his pedigree (Solomini). He is sired by Curlin and out of a half-sister to Midshipman and the dam of Frosted. I think he fits right in with Loaban, Central Banker and Teuflesberg at the farm.
If he had been trained by anyone else, we would barely know his name.

Instilled Regard won the G2 Fort Lauderdale on turf today. Admission Office was second and Channel Cat third.
It’s really nice to see this good looking dude back in the winner’s circle! Hoping he stays in training because I’m sure we have not seen his best.

Whitmore for me. 3rd race off a layoff, he can get the distance. He sprints because he can, and they seem to think it’s not as hard on him.

is it a hot take to say that Declaration of War is the most underrated young sire potentially in the world? Graded/group winners in multiple continents, over dirt and turf, from a juvenile winner over dirt in America to the Melbourne Cup winner.
He’s certainly getting attention now!

Is there a way to find out if a filly has been retired and bred other than word of mouth from connections? I’m trying to find out if Spring Lily has been retired. She hasn’t been active since her win in the Kalookan Queen Stakes last January. Foaling season is coming... maybe track her through Jock...
