Re: Nocturnal Kitten

Nocturnal Kitten is a son of Kitten's Joy out of Nightofsolance (Officer). I submitted the name "Nocturnal Kitten" for the colt (the Ramseys do a naming submission thing every year) and it was selected. Naturally I've been wanting to follow him. He was bred/foaled on southern hemisphere time. Equin...

Re: Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses

Pedigree Query claims New Year's Day was bought by Shadai. When it was announced a Japanese buyer purchased him from Brazil, the buyer was kept confidential. If it was Shadai, why would they want to be confidential? Also he's not on their site (last I checked). Shadai has not updated their site for...

Don't see anything wrong in the hind, but boy is he upright through the fore pasterns.
He's always was.

I saw him last Sunday and he seemed to be walking fine.

It's LeComte, no P.
Sorry, didn't have my heart in it when posting before coffee.
I'm glad you fixed it. Stuff like that in subject lines really sets off my OCD, even though I am the queen of the typo (at least when using mobile devices).

Tizso was bought by a lady I know, Michelle Crawford of Crawford Racing. Her and her husband are known more in the Standardbred world, but they have owned El Deal and Shancelot. Michelle is very into horse aftercare and she said Tizso will be pensioned after having her foal Thank you for sharing th...

Mungojerrie (2nd dam is Precious Kitten) was 2nd by a head today in a MSW at Tampa. This was a big improvement off his clueless debut at Keeneland. He's a 3YO gelding by Declaration of War.
The now-4YO broke his maiden by 16+ lengths today at Tampa.

Blue Prize (ARG) --> Into Mischief I thought Into Mischief was booked full before Blue Prize was sold? Re: Is American Pharoah a turf sire

Has anyone noticed that AP is looking like a very good turf sire but a bust as a dirt sire? No stake winners on dirt. Only one stakes horse from 42 runners on dirt. Four stakes winners (3 graded) on turf with 10 stakes horses on turf. AP had 14 winners on dirt, but no repeat winners. https://www.th...
