That is just adorable. You're very creative, Bal.
Merry Christmas to you, Bill and the (definitely NOT Little) Darlings! Hope 2018 is a happy and healthy year for all.

I bet she means the commercial with guy with the watch. It's only run about 100 times.;)

Re: Dog question

Yes, surviving that type of cancer as well as everything else you've endured is quite an accomplishment. Bill has the right perspective, lol. And dogs definitely help to get us through tough times. They just know when you need to pet them! :)

Re: Dog question

Ya know, sometimes you have to learn the hell that someone else has gone through or continues to go through to make you stop feeling sorry for yourself. I am so sorry for all you've gone through and condolences also on the loss of your Dad. Thank you. He died in 2015 ... had an apparent sudden card...

Re: Dog question

You sure went through hell, and I am so sorry. We had experience with hemangioma. Fortunately, it worked out well for Roy albeit a good $6,000 later. Here's an article if you'd care to read. http://rrcus.org/health/pdf/Splenic_Hematoma.pdf Wow, thank you. Good information, and I've saved the articl...

Re: Dog question

AWW - so sweet. I'm so sorry to hear that Riley is no longer with you. Happy that you went out and got another pup. Thanks Ballerina. 2016 was an awful year for me and Riley. He had a growth on his spleen that turned out to be benign, but of a type that often turns into hemangiosarcoma. I went ahea...

Re: Dog question

Speaking of pet insurance, does anyone have a recommendation on the best company for that? It's been a while since I looked for policies. Also . . . (Apologies in advance for hijacking a thread, but in this instance I thought it might be ok.) So . . . I waited several months after Riley died last ye...

Re: The VENT Thread

So sorry to hear about Riley's passing but it sounds like you two had a long and happy life together. Like BA suggested, hopefully there will be a time when you are ready for a new friend to warm up your house again. Thanks Starine, I've been thinking of that, and have decided to look for another p...

Re: The VENT Thread

So sorry about Riley. If only our furry friends lived longer. :( I hope a time will come when you feel ready to fill that empty house with a new friend. Sounds like you deserve one...at least, one who has no illegal habits. Thankfully, the tenant who had illegal habits lived in a separate g...

Re: The VENT Thread

I want this year to end. My dog Riley died on his 12th birthday Nov. 5, after being diagnosed on Halloween with inoperable liver cancer. This after he had a series of medical issues earlier this year and major surgery. The house is unbearably empty now. Add in the hurricane that roared through here ...

Re: Zenyatta News

I think even the posters that don't want her to go back to War Front realize that this position is "dumb" and "nonsense" but they don't need to be told so. Unless of course the critics NEVER even placed a bet on "Green Jacket" on St. Patrick's Day! I bet a lot of people are shaking their heads at t...

Re: Zenyatta News

Dammit. What awful news. The Mosses must be heartbroken, especially after losing Z's War Front filly as well. I know neither loss had anything to do with genetics, but perhaps try another stallion? Is Medaglia d'Oro a good cross with Z?

Re: The Press versus The People

I don't remember having so much fun during a political campaign as watching the Trump phenomenon. This isn't partisan, which is what makes it so fun. The press just cannot stand him -- both the liberal and conservative press -- and talk awful about him in every single comment. The other Republican ...

Why are white people the only racist's on earth? There is a lot of hate all over the world. How about Japan V.S. China and the Philippines, Israel and Palestine...you could go on forever. Time is changing things. I know with my kids you can't say anything bad about anyone...but it does comes out wh...
