I know Deirdre is an Irish name, but I prefer her title as Banana Queen in French: Reine de Banane.

Re: The Pennsylvania Derby Saturday

Bleh. Really?? I'm quite intrigued. Will Maximum Security get away with an uncontested lead? Or will War of Will take it to him from the outset? Tapability broke his maiden yesterday in R4 at Gulfstream Park. He is now a gelding.

Awful hard to get excited about Omaha Beach coming back to the races knowing he will be whisked off to the breeding shed after just two more races. I realize that money talks, but the news still smarts.

That's a really wonderful gesture. I have heard only the most wonderful, nice things about Mr. Babington from people in the show jumping community. I really hope he continues to do well in his recovery.

I don't have anything to contribute thus far, I just wanted to thank everyone for their posts. From those like Tessablue who are more knowledgeable on the subject to those who are less knowledgeable who have asked very good questions. I'm really eager to see how this develops -- what else will be re...

The $700K Kitten's Joy colt who sold today went to Shadwell. I think they've bought 2 or 3 by him.
I would love to see more Kittens running abroad.

Nevertheless, the chrb acted to hide information, then did closed sessions, changed rules after the fact, and other levels of high impropriety.
This will be the hardest to explain away.

Ebisa (o/o Ebiyza) won the inaugural Jockey Club Oaks Invitational.
The Aga Khan sending mares to KJ is one of the biggest endorsements a stallion can get.
