Re: Saratoga 2019

Any word on the horse that fell right at the line in race 10 yesterday (Friday)? Sad to report that Fight Night was euthanized on the track after the 10th race yesterday for a catastrophic ankle break. 3 yo filly by Alpha who had raced twice earlier this year at Santa Anita. Javier Castellano was s...

I feel terrible for Mandella. I felt like this horse was going to do it and am bummed he won't get to run the race.

Omaha Beach Scratched

I don't want to post this because it's news I'm sure no one wants to read, but it's true. TVG just announced. Trapped epiglottis.

Casse on War of Will - There remains a chance the colt runs the first Saturday in May. Casse said War of Will, a son of War Front, will ship as planned to Lexington, Ky., in the coming days. There, could be evaluated further. "If it was just a muscle strain or something, yeah, he could be back train...

Favorite in the La. Derby, War of Will's back legs went out from under him coming out of the gate. Spinoff looked good.

Re: Honor Code 2 year olds

I feel the same. I hope he carries on the legacy. He's a horse I'm crazy about. I was wowed when he stepped into the Saratoga paddock before his first race as a two year old and I watched him the day after his last race load onto a van at Keeneland to go to his new stud career at Lane's End.

Re: Honor Code 2 year olds

“He’s averaged about 150 mares a year, which for us is a very full book,” said Farish. “We are hoping to have him right about there again this year. The reports we are getting from a lot of the 2-year-old breaking farms down in Ocala have been very, very positive. “Even though you wouldn’t expect hi...

I have just realized that Blind Luck(USA) is now in Japan.. Don’t now yet who imported her. https://www.jairs.jp/sp/contents/archives/2019/20.html I hesitate to ask because I don't expect good news but can anyone provide a status on Blind Luck's dam, Lucky One? She sold to Shadai Farm in 2010. She ...

That was impressive. Winter Sunset, daughter of Winter Memories, wins the Shantel Lanerie Memorial Stakes at Fairgrounds. Second win for this grey miss and this time over a game Elsa ridden by Corey Lanerie.

What just happened!?!? Abel Tasman was balky loading for the G1 Zenyatta, got off slow and trailed the field like Zen, tried to pick off horses, but then just flattened out in the stretch. Mike didn't even touch her with the whip, just let her cross the wire at a gallop in 5th. I hope she's OK. The...

Doesn't sound like that have any plans to do so unless they have breeding facilities at their farm. They said he is at his forever home. Buff has mentioned breeding plans in a coupl...
