Delta/Evangeline/Louisiana Downs refuse to allow training

All 3 tracks have refused to allow for horses to train at their tracks for 3 weeks. Delta and Evangeline tried to force horsemen off the property and the Louisiana State Racing Commission had to step in. However Boyd Gaming that owns those 2 tracks has filed a restraining order against the LSRC so t...

Re: horses with unique coloring/facial markings

Yes... I refrain from commenting on their articles by pointing out the stupidity of their statements regarding the horses colors because it's energy wasted. Thank you for responding. I just wanted to make sure because I was like ????? mostly because the sire is almost exclusively from European bloo...

Re: Your Favorite Santa Anita Derby

I'm only going to think about ones I actually watched when they were happening, not replays. Its weird for me. I know I watched quite a few SA Derbies but there aren't a lot that stick out in my head. I will go with A.P. Indy. As for the SA Oaks, I'll give it to two fillies who had shortened careers...

Re: horses with unique coloring/facial markings

Wow, what a loudly marked colt. Do you know if any other of Libore's offspring have an unusual amount of white? I have found pictures of 3 other Libore's offspring and no one is marked like this little colt : I'm curious about the article that was written. I don't know French so I used Google Trans...

Re: Photos/News about Broodmares

Was Stellar Wind actually bred last year or no? Maria's Mon posted that she was booked to Galileo in the 2019 matings thread but the Breeders Cup site doesn't bring up anything for her for a 2020 foal. The Breeders Cup site doesn't pull European breedings, so you have to wait until late in the foal...

Re: Photos/News about Broodmares

Idk how I even came across this tonight. It looks up to date though fan made for sure but its pretty cool, it has a list of Coolmores pensioned mares and also all their broodmares in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. I don't know how to find the pensioned mare list on the site so I include...

Re: Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses

Pas Prete (GB) (More Than Ready-Halfbridled '14) broke her maiden at Maisons-Laffitte. Haripour (IRE) (Shamardal), a half brother to Harzand (IRE), broke his maiden at Navan. Noticed tonight that Halfbridled had no foals after the 2014 Pas Prete. Anyone know if she was pensioned....or deceased? I d...

Re: Kentucky Derby and the Coronavirus

CDI blatantly stealing from its customers would be a national outrage in simpler times. It's simply disgusting. I don't have all that much money in the future wager- mostly a few crazy exacta boxes- but everyone should be boycotting the future pools until the stolen funds are returned. Good to see ...

Re: Photos/News about Broodmares

I don't know if this is the right place for this because it doesn't talk about her broodmare career at all but she did have foals. Champion Heartlight No. One and her lifelong colic problems. https://www.paulickreport.com/features/lesson-horses/lesson-horses-presented-by-texas-thoroughbred-associati...

Re: Foals of 2020

While I understand that fans or people in general can be crazy and I understand the desire for privacy, you can't sign up for something like Foal Patrol and then get mad or "give up" on FP when you are naturally asked for updates from FP and fans. We don't know what the deal is of course, this is j...

Is there any way to see a full list of mares bred to a certain stallion?
If you pay Equineline, then yes but Report of Mare bred aren't due until August 1st. Its $25 per stallion or $250 a year for unlimited reports.

Re: Secretariat at 50...

Yeah I juat found it strange that the rest were all great horses and then those two. No doubt they had to be very good and Silky Sullivan is a horse that comes up because of being such an insanely deep closer. Terrang is just a horse that never comes up. Its kind of sad if he was a very good horse t...

Re: Secretariat at 50...

When I was young and before my knowledge of horse racing was expanded by reading alot. I viewed the Breyer racehorses, as Thoroughbreds that must have been very special. To me almost all of them made sense because they were important race horses and then there are just 2 random ones, imo. Silky Sull...

Re: Black Thoroughbreds

If he wasn't black, he was as dark bay as you could possibly get. His son Cobra King was the same color. Edit to say: I grabbed a 97 stallion directory and Farma Way's photo is in it. He is very dark but he isn't black. I always thought he was black though. Honestly... I don't know.. I feel like som...

Re: Old Friends Virtual Tour Series...

I honestly didn't know Dinard was still living. Pretty cool. I vaguely remember him running, I know he won the SA Derby and was highly thought of that year. Half brother to Champion Eliza. I loved Strawberry Road as a sire, was a shame when he died at 16, considering he really hadn't stood at stud t...

Re: Stallion News

I saw a video from his birthday last year where his groom or the stallion manager at Coolmore said they were minding him and he only covers around 100 mares a year... I guess the "around" is the key word. I guess if he is still up for it and Coolmore needs him to cover 70% of their mares, then why ...

I hope they'll send her to a PotN son. I am so sad we will never get a PotN x Beholder foal, as I recall the nick with PotN had a rather high rating... and now with Empire Maker also gone. American Pharoah? I hope they also try RtR again with him and they also do that with Stellar Wind. Rags to Ric...

Re: Dubai World Cup canceled

There is an article on Paulick that says the US horses returned from Dubai on Thursday the 26th. But the only horse they talk about is Shotski, I would assume the rest that have "Expedited Rush Fee Received and in progress" are also back.
