Kukulkan won pretty easily at 11-1.
Hawaakom, ColonelsDarkTemper, Casino Star, and My Boy Jack were in there, too.

Can't help but wonder if the mistake was made of "confusing" H2-B workers with illegals. . . . . . . . .

"Company culture" is top down. Exploitation sucks.

Re: 2019 Preakness Stakes

Alright, what's going to happen during the Belmont? I vote the starting gate tractor dies and they have to forfeit the race. 2 gates malfunction and the race is deemed void. Let's go big- all gates malfunction and they awkwardly back the horses out and go home. I can dig it. Signalman is the string...

It's not news that Curlin is a good sire, but 3 stakes winners at Pimlico on Black Eye Susan Day?

Somewhere, Jess Jackson is smiling.

Re: Baltimore vs. Stronach Group

I would have not been opposed to a move to Laurel, until I actually visited Laurel a couple of years ago. No character whatsoever. Probably the worst track I have ever visited in that regard. Miles below Pimlico. You might as well run the Preakness at an old worn out outlet mall. Everything about t...

I didn’t realize Global Campaign is a 1/2 to Bolt d’Oro AND Sonic Mule! He just won the Peter Pan S (G2) today.
Three for 3 - and an untimely death - beautiful mare.

"Speaking of Code of Honor...why didn't he win the Derby? As Maximum Security was floating wide then came sharply back in Code of Honor..." When MaxS veered back in toward the rail, I think he made contact with CoH as that one was accelerating up the rail. IMHO, that bump may have been a hard one a...

Isnt it Signalman? If so, live one there.
Signalman has left town (so to speak). . . but WOW goes in the #2 gate, a small mercy.

Re: 2019 Kentucky Derby

I doubt that Spendthrift knew about his condition, as it sounds like this is a recent development. A trainer like Mandela would not have been bringing a colt to the Derby if he was experiencing the entrapment before this. The Bloodhorse story reports that OB had a mild throat inflammation that clea...

Well, looks like WoW gets cooked before he hits the frying pan.
That's a very good way of putting it. And he's so on the muscle right now, I'm not sure the crowd and hanging around in #1 won't have him sizzling before he leaves the gate.

Re: 9th @ SA San Marcos $200K 1-1/4 Turf

I wonder if Paradise Woods just liked the new, deep track at SA. New ballgame at the great race place. 1:51 is now fast. Or maybe just found the right (i.e. awful) field? I have to admit, this was my first response. La Force is OK, even if she prefers 2nd, but off the layoff, not in the same zip to...
