This makes me happy for such a hard working and dedicated group. Costs them a lot less than replacing the asbestos-filled firetraps m...

Re: Racing in Japan

I wonder if we all place an order together and pay extra for shipping and personal travel time / time spent shipping if someone in Japan could get us Almond Eye plushies and send to the US. I am so in for this.

https://www.paulickreport.com/news/the-biz/khrc-asmussen-suspended-30-days-for-pair-of-acepromazine-overages/ I firmly believe that there is NO reason a horse should need to be ridden with the assistance of medications like Ace..if you need to dose your horse with Ace in order to ride it successful...

Re: Jockey/Trainer News - 2018

Asmussen is appealing the ruling, saying he had the ace given way outside of recommended timeframes, and that the cutoff levels were reflective of IV use, not oral, which is how most backstretch vets use it, and that the residual metabolites were inert and had no effect on race day. He is taking a s...

Steve Asmussen given small fine and 30 d suspension for 2 overages of the sedative and muscle relaxer acepromazine. So a slap on the wrist, Scott takes over and Steve gets a nice Christmas vacation.

Tiz the Law a close third to Silver Prospector after a tough inside bottled up trip and stumbling start in the Kentucky Jockey Club at Churchill. Performer very impressive in Discovery today at Aqueduct for Shug. Stepped up to stakes company and 2 turns for the first time and battled gamely with Tax down the stretch before prevailing late. Beautiful chestnut colt really reminds me of same connection’s Easy Goer . Will be put away until sprin...

Apparently Msawish is sold and no longer at Taylor Made according to a person on FB. Anyone verify?
That would take them from 5 stallions to 3 in less than a week. Yikes.
Not sure Farm has truly recovered from losing UBS awhile back

Independence Hall was super impressive, receiving a 101 Beyer in winning the Nashua. Other than ducking out a bit in the stretch, he looked great as he closed the final 1/4-mile in 24 and 2. He also appears to be long in body and has Seattle Slew both top and bottom in his pedigree. The sky's the l...

Just goes to show you can never truly tell who will develop into a big runner and who won't. Vino Rosso's has-had a lot of fans (mostly due to dad) but I'm not sure anyone really expected him to win the Classic one day. Well, before his JCGC run at least. Matt Shiffman must feel vindicated. Also I ...
